About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 15.


Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste mask 0084 and resize it 85%, select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper 17 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.

Paste mask 0087 and resize 40%, repeat as with the first mask but using paper 21, duplicate, position one copy at the top of the first mask and the other over on the right.

Paste element 177, resize 50%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 176, resize 35%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 182, resize 25% and move into place.

Paste frame 9, resize 30%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 171, resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 151, resize 17%, position erasing the bottom of element 171 that is showing and apply the shadow.

Paste element 233, resize 20%, and apply the shadow. 

Paste element 185, resize 50% and move into place.

Paste element 15, resize 30%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 168, resize 40%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 43, resize 25% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste frame 1 and resize 8%, click anywhere on your canvas outside of the element with  your magic wand to make a selection, invert the selection and contract it by 10, make a new layer below the frame and paste paper 26 into the selection, deselect, apply the shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the paper and move into place.

Paste element 10, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste the tube, resize 45%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 246, resize 35% and position below the tube.

Paste element 2, resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 42, resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 228, resize 30%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 41, resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 87, resize 17%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 190, resize 5% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 195, resize 5%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 180, resize 15% and move into place duplicate, mirror the copy and position on the right then apply the shadow to each.

Paste element 11, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 161 on the top, resize 10% ,position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 233 again, resize 40%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 203, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 25, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 87b, resize 23% position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 86, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 68, resize 12%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 56, resize 12%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 21, resize 40%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 35, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 116, resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 1, resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 69, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 67, resize 12%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 95, resize 10%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 232, resize 23%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 174, resize 10% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 194, resize 8%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 6, resize 23%, position and apply the shadow.

Duplicate element 232 (the skulls and grass), move one copy over so it shows to the right of the tiger and erase the part that overlaps with the first copy.

Paste element 82, resize 8%, duplicate, mirror one copy, position and apply the shadow to each.

Paste element 248, resize 40%, mirror and move into place.

Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
