About Me
- Vivienne
- Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

I used a drop shadow on
all the elements in the tag, if you want to use the drop shadow, after resizing
go to the Effects in the top menu, then 3-D effects, then drop shadow. These are the settings I used in this tag.
Open a new canvas 750 x
750 pixels and fill it with white.
Paste element 178 and
resize 65%.
Paste element 110 and
resize 70%.
Paste element 133 and
resize 35%.
Paste element 22 and
resize 60%.
Paste element 138, resize
35%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 38, resize
50% and mirror (Image – mirror – mirror horizontal), position and apply the
shadow.
Paste frame y11 and
resize 35%. Click on the Magic Wand
tool to activate it, then use it to click on your canvas, you can click
anywhere at all but outside of the window element, not inside it and this will
make a selection. Now go to Selections
in the top menu then go to Invert. Again,
go to Selections then go to Modify then Contract, type in 5 in the number of
pixels box and apply. Open paper 21 and
copy it, go back to your canvas and make a new layer below element 11 window
frame, right click on the canvas and a menu appears, go to Paste – Paste into selection
and the paper will paste inside the window.
Now go back to Selections at the top and go to Select non. Apply the shadow to the window frame.
Paste element 99,
resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 139,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 100,
resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 5, resize
32%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 68,
resize 17%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 181,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste the tube, resize
55%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 100
again, resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 28,
resize 17%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 120,
resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 44, resize
18%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 17, resize
18%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 41, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 47, resize
10%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 73,
resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 59,
resize 12%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 33,
resize 10%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 19, resize
15%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 183,
resize 20% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 91, reside
25%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 78,
resize 23%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 191,
resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 56, resize
20%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 135,
resize 10%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 112,
resize 8%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 111,
resize 8%, position and apply the shadow.
Paste element 85, resize
15%, go to Image, then Free Rotate and apply with the settings in my screenshot
below, position and apply the shadow.
Check everything is in
place and add your copyright information and text.
Now close off the white
background layer at the bottom by clicking on the eye on that layer palette and
save as a png.
