About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

Paste frame 13, resize 25%, select the interior with your magic wand and expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below it and paste paper 29 into the selection, deselect, apply the shadow to the frame, merge  it down onto the paper and move into place.

Check your layers then add your copyright information and text.  When cropping you need to be sure you  have plenty of room on the right hand side of the tag for the animation.

ANIMATION:

Open the animation in Animation Shop, resize it 60% and note it has 15 frames.  Go back to your tag and, starting at the top, close off all the layers down to and including the tube and merge visible, re-open the closed layers, closed the merge one and again merge visible.  Copy the bottom merged layer and paste in Animation Shop, duplicate it so you have 15 frames, select all the frames in the animation and copy them, select all the frames on your tag and paste the animation into them.  Back in Paint Shop, copy the top merged layer, again paste it in Animation Shop, duplicate it as before, copy all these frames and paste your  tag.  Run your tag through the optimisation wizard and save as a gif.
