About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the lovely tube “Diva” from
You can purchase the tube at

The matching kit “Diva” is from
Tiny Turtle Designs
and you will find it at

You will need the png versions of masks 304 and 309 from

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0,  horizontal 5, opacity 75,  blur 15.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 800 pixels and fill with white.

Paste mask 304, resize 70% and move down, select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper 24 into the selection, deselect and delete the original png mask layer.   Paste mask 309, resize 65% and move up and to the left, repeat as with the first mask using the same paper.

Paste element 234, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  We will come back to this.

Paste element  39, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  41, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  250, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  38, resize 40%, rotate 10 degrees to the left and move into place.  Select the interior of the element with your magic wand, expand the selection by 30, make a new layer below it and paste paper 31 into the selection, paste the tube, resize 70%, position in the element, invert the selection and hit delete, deselect, apply the drop shadow to the frame,  change the blend mode on the tube to “Hard Light” and lower the opacity to around 70.

Paste the tube, resize 27%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 190 just above the masks, resize 90% and move into place erasing the part that shows below the right hand clock.

Paste element  222, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  244 below element 250, resize 40%, duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element  199, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  189 below the tube, resize 30% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  92, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  29, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  112, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  59, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  15, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  194, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  109, resize 30% and rotate 40 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  24 on the top, resize 13%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  42, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  154, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  159, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  57, resize 13%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  46, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  192, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  269, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  253, resize 18%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  30, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  145, resize 25% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  119, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  139, resize 7% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  141, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  106, resize 13%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.
