About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the fabulous tube “Elvina” from
which you can purchase at
and matching kit of the same name fro,

This is a spectacular tube and kit,
I really loved working with them.

You will need mask 142 by
and my png mask

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste my mask, resize it 65% and move it up a little.

Make another canvas 650 by 300 and fill with black, apply Mizteeque’s mask with the “Invert mask data” box checked, paste it onto your canvas and position at the bottom of my mask.  You can delete this second canvas now.

Paste element  42, resize 85% and move into place select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 30, make a new layer below the element and fill with colour #24292c.  Mirror the full size tube and paste it on your canvas, resize 45% and position in the element, invert the selection, hit delete on the tube and deselect.   Click anywhere on the canvas outside of the tube to make a selection, invert the selection, make a new layer below the tube and fill with black, deselect, go to Adjust – Blur – Guassian Blur – and apply with a radius of 10.  Merge the tube down onto this black layer then change the blend mode on it to “Soft Light” and apply the drop shadow to the frame.  Close off the white background and both masks, merge visible then reopen the closed layers.

Paste element  11, resize 60%, position below the merged layer and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 43 on the top, resize 18%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  8, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  78, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  86, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  118, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  46, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  44, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  104, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Undo the mirror on the tube and paste again on your canvas, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  120, resize 40%, position behind the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  73, resize 40% and rotate 30 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  126, resize 45%, duplicate, mirror one copy, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element  67, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 52, resize 80% and move into place.

Paste element  58 on the top, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 127 again and resize it 45% as before, erase all the bottles apart from the one the third from the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  102, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  72, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  88, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  1, resize 18%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  23, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  3, resize 15% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  12, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  26, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  9, resize 13%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  7, resize 13%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  98, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  5, resize 13% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  103, resize 18%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  41, resize 18%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  64, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers now and make any adjustments.  I duplicated my mask, dragged it down so just a small bit of butterfly was showing at the bottom and erased the rest of it.
