About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

You will need my mask

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 6 into the selection, deselect, apply my mask, resize it 95% and move it up and to the left a bit.

Paste element 18, resize 80%, position top right, duplicate, resize the copy another 90% and move over and to the left, erase the top scroll bit on the original copy and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element  104, resize 80% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  151, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  50, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  190, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  39, resize 45%, position one top left and one bottom right, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element  28 and resize 40%, select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20,  make a new layer below it and paste paper 35 into the selection.   Paste the tube (I used the tube with the yellow dress, copied her merged and pasted her as a new image as I couldn’t see her even when I resized, I then copied this new image and pasted it on the canvas), resize 35%, position on the element, invert he selection, hit delete and deselect.   Change the blend mode on the tube to “Soft Light” and apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge the tube down onto the paper then mere the frame down onto this merged layer and move into place.

Paste element  23, resize23%, position below the merged layer and move into place,

Paste element  22, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste your tube again on the top (this time I used the purple copy), resize 18%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  42, resize 70%, position below the tube, duplicate and merge the copy down onto the original.

Paste element  149, resize 15% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  87, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  24, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  3, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  123, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  10, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  33, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
