About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 15.


Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 26 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask, duplicate and merge the copy down onto the original, resize 95% and mirror.

Paste element  136, resize 45% and move into place.

Paste element  56, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  59, resize 60% and mirror, position below the keyboard and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube on the top, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  37, resize 40%, place in position behind the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 11, resize 30% and move into place, select the interior with your magic wand and expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below it and  fill with the colour 27252a, mirror the close up tube then paste as a new layer, resize 45%, position in the frame, invert the selection and hit delete deslect, lower the opacity on the tube to around 45 and apply the drop shadow to the frame.

Paste element  43, resize 12%, position above the clock and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  106, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  85, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow with the “shadow on new layer” box checked then erase that part inside the balloon that makes it dark.

Paste element  103, resize 15%, duplicate, mirror one copy and position above the clock, position the top copy on the camera and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element  17, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  41, resize 23%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  36, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element  75, resize 15% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
