About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the pretty tube “Burlesque Deux” from the pack 102 from
You can purchase the tube at

The kit is “Peek a Boo Pink” from
and can also be purchased at

You will need mask 159 from

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 65, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 800 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer select all, paste paper 11 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste element 65, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 81, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 113, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 2, resize 35% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, paste the frame again, resize 30% and rotate 10 degrees to the right and move both copies into place.   Select the interior of the original frame, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below it and paste paper 7 into the selection, paste the close up tube, change the blend mode to “Lumiance (Legacy)”, position in the frame, invert the selection, hit delete on the tube, deselect and apply the drop shadow to the frame.  Repeat with the second frame but with the tube mirrored and resized 90%.

Paste the main tube, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3, resize 30%, position below the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 59, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 38, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 114 on the top, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 112, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 95, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 94, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 83, resize 22%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 44, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 41, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 58, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39, resize 8%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6, resize 15% and rotate 30 degrees in either direction, duplicate, mirror one copy, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
