About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the tube “Cherry Girl 2” from
You can purchase the tube at

The kit is also “Cherry Girl 2” from
Kizzed by Kelz.
I just love this retro style kit which can be purchased at

You will need mask 1 from set 2 from

Font is

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0,  horizontal 2, opacity 65,  blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste the mask and resize it 45%.  Select all, float and defloat the mask, make a new layer, paste paper 7 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.

Paste element 63, resize 40% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 114, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32, resize 60% and apply the drop shadow.  Paste the tube, resize 35% and apply the drop shadow then move the TV and tube into place.

Paste element 15, resize 40% and rotate 90 degrees to the left, position between the TV and tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 31, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 117, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 56, resize 40% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 43, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, resize 8%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 40, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 42, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 71, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

paste element 35, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 76, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 48, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 107, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 55, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 143, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 126, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 70,  resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers now and make any adjustments.  I used my Pick tool on the mask to squeeze it in a little narrower.

Paste element 119 just above the mask, change the blend mode to “Overlay” and move into place.  Paste element 123, resize 85%, change the blend mode also to “Overlay” and move into place.  Select the mask, float and defloat it, invert the selection and  hit delete on both these two elements.

Paste element 81, resize 15%, position below element 56 and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 15% and mirror, position above element 56 and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 150, resize 20%, position above element 35, duplicate, mirror the copy, position above element 31 and apply the drop shadow to each.
