About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

You can purchase this tube called “Donna” at

The kit is “Rusted Liberty”.
This is a fabulous kit from
and can be found at

You will need mask frame (11) from

Font is
Most Wasted.

Unless stated, I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste the mask, resize it 32% and move up a bit.  Select all, float and defloat the mask, make a new layer, paste paper 21 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.

Paste frame 5, resize 45% and move into place.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 30, paste paper 36 and resize it 30%, position in the frame, invert the selection and hit delete.  Paste element 114, resize 20% and move into place, hit delete to remove the top part of the wiring and apply the drop shadow.  Deselect, apply a drop shadow with vertical and horizontal both set to 0 , opacity to 100 and blur to 10 to the frame, and merge the frame down onto the light bulb and then again down onto the paper.

Paste the tube (you will see I combined the head of the green layer with the black layer), resize 28%, place in position and apply the drop shadow (remember to change the shadow settings).

Paste element 115, resize 25%, position behind the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 60, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 76, resize 13%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 78, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
