About Me
- Vivienne
- Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

You will need mask
4 from
Font of choice.
Other than the butterflies, I used a drop shadow of
vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 65,
blur 10.
Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill
with white.
Paste the mask and resize it 33%. Select all, float and defloat the mask, make
a new layer and paste paper 11 into the selection, deselect and delete the
black mask layer. When I had finished my
tag I stretched the mask a bit longer using my Pick tool.
Paste frame 6, resize 50%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste the tube, resize 35%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 10, resize 65%, rotate 30 degrees to the
right and position below the tube. Paste the element again, resize this copy
60%, rotate it 40 degrees to the right and move into place. Apply a drop shadow to both butterflies
changing the horizontal to 15 and the opacity to 45.
Paste spray 2, mirror, place in position and apply the drop
shadow (remember to change the settings back).
Paste element 9, resize 90%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste wordart 2 on the top, resize 65%, place in position
and apply the drop shadow.
Paste element 46, resize it 30% and duplicate twice. Position the original copy in the centre
below the word art, place one copy on the left, mirror one copy and position on the top and
apply the drop shadow to each.
Paste element 57, resize 40%, duplicate and flip the copy, position the original copy below the word art
on the right and the flipped copy on the top on the left, apply the drop shadow
to each.
Paste element 12, resize 35% and position below the
leaves on the right.
Paste element 42, resize 25%, duplicate, resize the copy
another 80%, position below the leaves
on the left and apply the drop shadow to each.
Paste element 18 on the top, resize 25%, duplicate, flip
the copy, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.
Paste element 26, resize 30%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 58, resize 30%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow then drag the red flowers on the right above it.
Paste element 46 again, resize 25%, duplicate and flip
one copy, place in position and apply the drop shadow
Paste element 62, resize 45%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 6, resize 20%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 54, resize 23%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 1, resize 25%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 59, resize 20%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 60, resize 20%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 28a, resize 23%, place in position and
apply the drop shadow.
Paste element 27, resize 25%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 2, resize 20%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 23, resize 18%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste spray 8, resize 50%, mirror and move into place.
Check your layers and make any adjustments, this is where
I pulled the mask down a bit so it just showed at the bottom of the tag, then
crop, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent
background as a png.
