About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the pretty tube “Madison” from
You can purchase the tube at

The matched kit is “Gentle Memories” from
Pink Paradox Productions.
This is a gorgeous kit and can be purchased at

You will need mask Mask 4 from Set 2 from
Imagine by Fran.

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 55,  blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 700 pixels and fill with white.

Open the mask, resize it 45%,  erase the text then copy it and paste it on your canvas.  Select all, float and defloat the mask, make a new layer, paste paper 20 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.  When you get further into the tutorial you will need to use your Pick Tool on the mask to make it longer.

Paste element 101, resize 45% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 46, resize 33%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 2 and resize 28%.  Click anywhere on your canvas outside of the frame to make a selection, invert the selection, contract it by 5, make a new layer below the frame and paste paper 9 into the selection.  Paste the tube, position in the frame, invert the selection and hit delete, deselect.  Change the blend mode on the tube to “Overlay” and apply the drop shadow to the frame.

Paste the tube again, resize 27%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 59, resize 50%, position below the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 60, resize 50% and position behind the grass.

Paste element 67, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 63, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 107, resize 48%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 56, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32 on the top, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 49, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26, resize 16%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21, resize 15% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 13, resize 22%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers now and make any adjustments, I stretched that mask down a bit.  When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
