About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the tube “Vampire 5” from
Verymany.
This tube comes with several colour options and can be purchased at

The kit is “Vampiric Masquerade” from
and can be found at

You will need my mask

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 5, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 17 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize it 90%.

Paste element 233, resize 75% and move into place.

Paste element 221, resize 50%, duplicate and close off the copy for now, place the original position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 97, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open the closed copy of element 221, bring it to the top and mirror it, apply the drop shadow,  position on the clock, erase the trunk and most of the tree so just a little remains hanging over the lock.

Paste the tube (you won’t see it), resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15, resize 55%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 88, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23, place in position,  erase the far end bone on the left and the one below the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 44, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 45, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1 on the top, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5, resize 25% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 33, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26, resize 23% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 30, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.

Paste element 235, resize 60% and position below the top crow.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
