About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the tube “My Teddy” by
You can purchase the tube at

The kit is “Love to Snuggle” from

You will need my mask

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 650 and fill with  white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 7 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize 95%.

Paste element 57, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 6, resize 30% and move into position, select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20 and fill with the colour #6b2406.  Paste the tube, position in the frame, invert the selection, hit delete on the tube and deselect.

Paste the tube again, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22, resize 40%, drag below the main tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 33, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 92, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 84, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24 on the top, resized 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 101, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 82, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 75, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.

Paste element 65 above the mask, resize 50% and place in position, erase any parts of the green parts that show either side, apply the drop shadow and change the blend mode to “Hard Light”.

Paste element 73, resize 30%, position below element 65 and change the blend mode to “Hard Light”.

When you are done,  crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
