About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

You will need my mask

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75,  blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 675 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 36 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize 95%.

Paste element 110, resize 30%, move into position and change the blend mode to “Hard Light”.

Paste element 86, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 97, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 149, resize 25%, position below element 97 and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 148, resize 25% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 102 just below the tube, resize 60%, duplicate and mirror the copy, position the original just above the sun and the mirrored copy behind the tube, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 78, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Pate element 107, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 101, resize 45% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 66, resize 15% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, position below element 101 and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 33 above element 101, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 47, resize 17%, mirror and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 35, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.  Erase that part of the circle of flames that sticks on in front of element 78 to make it go behind the element.

Pate element 98, resize 70%, drag down below element 78, position so the skulls are hidden and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 161, resize 50% and place in position.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
