About Me
- Vivienne
- Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity
55, blur 15.
Open a new transparent canvas 775 by 700 pixels and fill with
white.
Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 31 into the
selection, deselect, open the mask, mirror it and apply to the
paper.
Paste element 117, resize 40%, place in position and
apply the drop shadow.
Paste frame 3, resize 35% and place in position. Select the interior of the frame with your
magic wand, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below it and paste
paper 38 in the selection, deselect and apply the drop shadow to the frame.
Paste the tube, resize 25%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 161, resize 65%, drag below the tube, place
in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste element 159, resize 35% and mirror, place in
position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste element 160, resize 25% and mirror, place in
position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste element 73, resize 25%, duplicate, mirror the copy
and resize it another 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.
Paste element 124, resize 10%, place in position and
apply the drop shadow.
Paste element 44, resize 15%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 45, resize 15%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 40, resize 20%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 51, resize 15%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 42, resize 15%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 49, resize 15%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 182, resize 80% and place in position.
Pate element 180, resize 60% and position just above the
basket, duplicate, bring the copy to the top, resize another 70% and mirror and
position in front of the tube.
Paste element 110, resize 15%, place in position and
apply the drop shadow.
Paste element 121, resize 10% and mirror, place in
position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste element 11, resize 15%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste element 2, resize 15%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop
your tag and add your copyright information and text. If you are not proceeding with the
animation, save on a transparent background as a png.
Animation:
Close off all your layers up to and including the paper
below the frame, right click and merge visible.
Close this merged layer, open the previously closed layers and again merge
visible. Copy this bottom merged layer
and paste in Animation Shop “As a new animation”. Open the snow animation, you will see it has
10 frames so you need to duplicate your merged tag layer until that too has 10
frames. Select all the snow frames and
copy them, right click on the tag, go to “Paste into selected frame” and paste
the snow onto the paper. Back in PSP close off the bottom merged
layer, open the top one and copy it, paste in Animation Shop “As a new
animation”, duplicate it until you have
10 copies and then select, copy and paste them on the tag as before.
When you are done, run your tag through the Optimization
Wizard and save as a gif.
