About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the tube “Razors Blade” from pack 91 from
This tube is awesome and is my favourite from the new pack.
You can purchase the tube at

I used a kit inspired by Enamorte’s October 2017 bonus tube from
I loved working with this kit!
You can purchase it at

You will  need my masks

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 5, horizontal 5, opacity 95, blur 15.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 800 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 2 into the selection, apply mask 0038 and resize 85%.

Make another layer, paste paper 3 into the selection, deselect, apply mask 0007 and resize 85%.

Paste the wordart and place in position top right.

Paste element 6, resize 65% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, duplicate and merge the top copy down onto the original (this is just to make the mesh stand out more), place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I recoloured this element purple.

Paste the main tube, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, resize 40% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 13, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22, resize 80% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 20, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10 on the top, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 35%, duplicate and mirror the copy, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.

Paste the close up tube above the word art, resize 90% and mirror, place in position (for the same effect as mine on the tube you need to place it in the same place as I have on the heart mask).  Go to the heart mask, select all, float and defloat it, invert the selection and hit delete on the tube, deselect.  Erase the part of the tube that covers the mask below her neck lowering the opacity of the eraser to 10 around the bottom of the neck to blend it in.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
