About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

You will need my mask

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open  new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixel and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 13 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize 85%.

Paste element 87, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 44, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 89, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 10 and resize 33%.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 20, paste paper 28 below the frame, resize it 30% and position in the frame, invert the selection and deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge it down on to the paper and move into position.

Paste the tube, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 85, resize 35%, drag behind the tube and duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 82, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 84, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15, resize 25%, drag down to just above the merged frame layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 63, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22, resize 12% and rotate 20 degrees to the left,  place in position above element 82 and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 55, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 30 on the top, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39, resize 20% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 83, resize 8% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 79, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8, resize 12% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 67, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.

Go back to element 22 and erase the corner so it looks tucked behind the stone.

Paste element 95, resize 40% and position  behind  the tube.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
