About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

You will need autumn mask 05 from

Font of choice.

I use a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste the mask and resize it 22%.  Select all, float and defloat the mask, make a new layer, paste paper 15 into the selection, deselect and delete the black mask layer.

Paste element 139, resize 40% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 137, resize 55% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 138, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 47, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 8, resize 22% and rotate 70 degrees to the right.    Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below the frame and paste paper 15 into the selection.  Mirror the tube and paste it on your canvas, resize 60% and position in the frame, invert the selection, hit delete and deselect.    Change the blend mode on the tube to “Overlay” and apply the drop shadow to the frame.  Close off all layers apart from the frame, tube and paper, merge visible, open the closed layers and move the merged one into position.

Reverse the mirror on the tube and paste it again, resize 32%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 69, resize 30%, position below the merged layer and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 74 below the tube, resize 50%, duplicate, mirror the copy and resize it another 90%, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 73, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 108, resize 40% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
