About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the gorgeous tube
Mary Elizabeth
from
You can purchase the tube from
I fell in love with this tube when a friend made me a

I used the fabulous matching kit
“Steamy Romance”
There are so many lovely elements in this kit
I just didn’t know which ones to use!!
You can purchase the kit at

You will need my mask

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 55, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 800 and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 44 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask, resize it 95% and lower the opacity to around 65.

Paste element 177, resize 45% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 142, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the main tube, resize 35%, erase the bottom of her skirt, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 136, resize 35%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 124, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 7, resize 20% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 45% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15, resize 40% and mirror, place in position, erase any of the pole that shows above the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 157 on the top, resize 22% and duplicate twice.  Drag one copy below the tube, position on the right.  Flip one copy and position in front of the tube in the middle.  Position the last copy on the top to the left.  Apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 37, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 47, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 86, resize 12% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 52, resize 15% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 185, resize 15% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 44, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 106, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 34, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 30, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 144, resize 12% and place in position.

Paste element 1, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers now and make any adjustments.

Paste element 4, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the close up tube just above the mask, resize it 55%, duplicate it, mirror the copy and close off it off for now.  Position the open tube on the right, "select all" on the mask layer, float and defloat the mask, invert the selection and hit delete on the tube.    Repeat the above with the copy then deselect.  Erase the parts of the tube that overlap each other, you just want to see the part of the faces and lower the opacity to around 60 on each.

Paste element 99, resize 35%, change the blend mode to “Overlay”, opacity the opacity to around 50 and place in position.

Crop your tag and add your copyright information and text.

Paste element 3, resize 20%, sitting on your text and apply the drop shadow.

When you are done, save your tag on a transparent background as a png.
