About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I again used the awesome art of
You need a license to use Enys’ art, available from

I used another fabulous freebie kit called
Steampunk
 from

I used mask 66 from

Font is
Semiramis.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 15.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 800 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 3 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize 85%.

Paste element 3 and positon along the bottom of the mask.

Paste element 26 and position towards top left.  We will duplicate this later.

Paste element 6, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I recoloured the flower pink.

Paste element 8, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the full tube, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 29, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32, resize 30% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1, resize 50% and mirror, place in position on the right hiding the hard edge of the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4, resize44% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 13, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 37, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.

Duplicate element 26 ,  move the copy down and erase the part of the original that sticks out on the left.

Paste element 18 on the top and place in position.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
