About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the beautiful freebie kit
“Autumn is here” from
You can get the kit
 here.
The gorgeous fox is included in the kit.

I used mask 3 from set 82 by

I used the Windows font
Impact.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 725 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 5 into the selection, apply the mask and resize it 90%.

Paste element 18, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19, resize 85%, drag below the wall and move into position.

Paste element 75, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 70 on the top, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 75 again, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 76, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 37, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 61, resize 40%, drag below the fox, place in position, erase the stalk that shows on the right and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 41, resize 8%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 63, resize 30%, position to the right of the fox and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 13, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 78, resize 40%, position behind the fox with part in front of the bowl of apples.  Duplicate, drag the duplicate to the top, mirror it and position along the bottom of the fox.  Apply the drop shadow to both copies.

Paste element 76 again, resize 20% and mirror, position below the top copy of element 78 and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16 on the top, resize 25%, duplicate and mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 60, resize 23%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11, resize 15%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 49, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 64, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 65, resize 12%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 48, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 53, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 52, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
