About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the art of
Anna Liwanag.
You can purchase Anna’s tubes at

I used the pretty kit “A Touch of Pink” from
You can add this kit to your cart and get it free
with a $5 purchase at

I used the Windows font
Callibri.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 and fill with white.

Paste element 23, resize 85%, duplicate, position one top left and one bottom right.

Paste frame 2 and resize 55%.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below it, paste paper 3 into the selection and deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the paper and move into place.

Paste element 36, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 31, resize 60% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, drag below the merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, position on the left, duplicate and move the duplicate over to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 30, resize 35%, duplicate and mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 27, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18 above the merged layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 29, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 37, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, resize 45%, duplicate and mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 26, resize 50% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 40% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 38, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 20a, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15, resize 40% and rotate 40 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments, then when you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
