About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 800 and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 2 into the selection, deselect,  apply Rachel’s mask, resize it 90% and mirror it.

Minyu’s mask as a new layer, resize it 35%, select it, float and defloat it, make a new layer and paste paper 2 into the selection, deselect and delete the black mask layer.

Paste element 16b, resize 75% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 5 and resize it 50%, select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20, paste paper 7 as a new layer below the frame and resize it 35%, invert the selection, hit delete on the paper and deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the paper and move into position.

Paste the tube, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 42, resize 40% and mirror, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste elements 37, 35 and 36, resize each of them 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 41, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22, resize 25%, duplicate and mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 21, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14, resize 55% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 20 on the top, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25, resize 50% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 31, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
