About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the gorgeous bonus tube “Star Dust” from
This tube is currently available free with a
tube purchase of just $10 from

I used the awesome kit “Scarylicious” from
The kit can also be purchased at

I used mask 3 from set 8 from

Font is

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 700 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 3 into the selection, deslect and apply the mask.

Paste element 19, resize 60%, rotate 10 degrees to the left.  Open paper 4 and mirror it, select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10, paste the paper as a new layer below the element, resize it  40%, position in the element, invert the selection and hit delete, deselect, apply the drop shadow to the frame and merge it down onto the paper.

Paste element 19 again, resize it 55% and rotate it 10 degrees to the right, select the interior and expand the selection as before, make a new layer below it and paste paper 6 into the selection, deselect, apply the drop shadow to the frame and merge it down onto the paper.   Move both merged layers into position.

Paste element 10, drag below the two merged layers, duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste the tube on the top, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15, resize 50% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2, resize 90%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 28, resize 85%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 50% and mirror,  position on the right.  Paste the element again, resize this copy 40%, position on the left, duplicate this copy, drag below the other two copies and position in the middle at the back.  Apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 25, resize 35%, drag below the top two pumpkin layers, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22 on top of the pumpkin layers, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3 on the top, resize 55%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and resize it another 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Check your layers for any needed adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
