About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 2, opacity 85, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 8 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste spray 9, resize 75% and rotate 30 degrees to the right.

Paste spray 14.

Paste frame 7b and resize 65%.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below it, paste paper 11 into the selection and deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame and merge it down onto the paper.

Paste element 42, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube, resize as needed,  place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3, resize 50% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, drag below the merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste word art 1 above the merged layer,  resize 80% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste elements 5a and 5b, resize each 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow

Paste element 11, resize 20% and duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste elements 19, 20, 17, 26c and 26b, resize  each of them 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 33, resize 30% place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 31, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste spray 5, resize 50%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 10, resize 40% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8, resize 35% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste elements 1a, 1b and 1c on the top, resize each 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.  I erased the bottom of element 42 that showed at the corners and the bottom of the frame.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
