About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the cute tube “Bunny Tales”
from the latest pack 73 from
Barbara Jensen.
You can purchase the tube at

The kit is “Sweetness” from
and can also be purchased at

You will need mask 0057 from

I used the font

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 750 and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 5 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize 90%.

Paste element 3, resize 45%, rotate 20 degrees to the right and place in position.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below it,  paste paper 5 into it and deselect.  we will come back to this.

Paste element 1, resize 60% and place in position.  Repeat what you did with the first frame using paper 3.

Paste your main tube, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16, resize 70%, drag down to just above the mask layer and place in position.

Paste element 9, resize 60% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26, resize 80%, drag above element 3 and position on the right, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the left, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 25, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11 on the top, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste item 12, resize 30%, duplicate, resize the duplicate 90% and mirror it, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments.

Paste the close up tube between the blue frame and the paper below it, resize 70%, duplicate it and close off the copy for now.  Position the original in the frame then select the interior of the frame and expand it as before, invert it and hit delete on the tube to remove the excess, deselect.  Change the blend mode on the tube to “Luminous Legacy” and apply the drop shadow to the frame.

Open the closed close up tube, mirror it and repeat the above positioning in the second frame.

Paste element 6, resize 35%, duplicate and mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
