About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. In this tutorial I used the layered tube “Masquerade”
from the new pack 68 from
Barbara Jensen.

I used mask 3 from set 31 from

Font of choice.




I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 65, blur 10.



Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 650 and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 9 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize 95%.

Paste element 14, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16, resize 50% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 20, resize 30% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12, resize 50%, rotate 10 degrees to the left and place in position.  Select the interior of the heart with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below it and paste paper 2 into, deselect and apply the drop shadow to the heart.

Paste element 2, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25, resize 60% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, position on the right and apply the drop shadow, duplicate and mirror the duplicate.

Paste element 11, resize 65% and mirror, position on the right and apply the drop shadow, duplicate and mirror the duplicate.

Paste element 30, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2, resize 60% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5, resize 35%, tuck behind the blue flower and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 30%, tuck behind element 3 and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow/

Paste element 1a, resize 27% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 15%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
