About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the fabulous tube “Taffeta Tease”
From layered pack 66 by
Barbara Jensen.
You can purchase Barbara’s tubes from her

I used the gorgeous new St. Patty’s kit “Kiss Me” from
You will find the kit also at

I used mask 21 from

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 1 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste element 8 and resize 45%, select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below the element, paste paper 3 into the selection and deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the paper and place in position.

Paste element 4, resize 45% and repeat the above with the same paper but when you have merged the element onto the paper, rotate it 20 degrees to the right and place in position.

Paste the tube, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 13, resize 55%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22 and bring to the top, resize 65%, rotate 90 degrees to the right and place in position.

Paste element 9, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 45% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5a, resize 40%, drag below element 9, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16, resize 40%, position between the two flowers and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 40% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7a, resize 20% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, tuck it behind the ribbon and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7b, resize 20% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12 on the top, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers now and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright info and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
