About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

I used mask 0444 from

I used the font

Unless otherwise stated, I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.  I also re-coloured the red elements to better match my tube (check out my “Tips and Tricks” page for info on re-colouring).

Open a new transparent canvas 650 x 600 and fill with white.

Make a new layer and fill it with black, apply the mask making sure the “Invert mask data” box is checked, resize 85% and rotate 10 degrees to the left.

Paste frame 2, resize 45% and rotate 80 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 4, resize 40% and rotate 50 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube close up, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26, resize 50%, drag below the tube and position on the right, duplicate and move the duplicate over to the left of the tube towards the bottom, duplicate again,  mirror this copy and position on the left behind her shoulder, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 6, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 31 and bring to the top,  resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow but changing the horizontal to 2 and blur to 5.

Paste element 4, resize 45%, place in position and apply the original drop shadow.

Paste element 20, resize 25%, mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 36, resize 40%, mirror and flip, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 25% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22, resize 20% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23, resize 18%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and resize it another 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 8, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers now and make any necessary adjustments.

Paste element 15, resize 25% and position below the dice, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position below the flowers on the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 19, resize 60%, drag below the tube and place in position. Duplicate this layer, bring the duplicate to the top and duplicate again, erase most of the flowers from these duplicate just leaving a few scattered around.  Apply the drop shadow to each.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
