About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the layered tube “Devour” from pack 66 from
Barbara Jensen.
You can purchase this awesome tube at

I used the new kit “Love Day Everyday” by
This colourful kit is also available at

You will also need a mask, I used mask 0057 from

I used the font

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 2, opacity 75, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 600 and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all and paste paper 8 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask. Resize 90% and mirror.

Paste element 18, resize 90%,  move up and to the right and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27, resize 90%, move over to the left and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 30%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 29, resize 80%, rotate 90 degrees to the right and place in position.

Paste element 8, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 28, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1, resize 35% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9 again, resize 30% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24 and bring to the top, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments, then  crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
