About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

I used winter mask 1 by

I used the font

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with  white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 8 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste frame 4 and resize 55%, select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 5, make a new layer below it and paste the same paper into the selection, deselect.    Apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the paper and move into position.

Paste spray 3, resize 55%, drag below the merged layer and duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 18 and bring to the top, resize 90%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste your tube, place in position resizing as needed and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 85%.

Paste element 48c, resize 25% and rotate 15 degrees to the left, drag down to above the merged layer and position on the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4, resize 25%, position on the left just below the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 40% and rotate 30 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7a, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 28, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 45, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 42 and bring to the top, resize 70% and rotate 90 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27, resize 35% and rotate 90 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24b, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39b, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments then paste spray 2,  resize it 80% and position immediately below the tube.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
