About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the fabulous art of
You need a license to use Enys’ art,
available at

I used an awesome kit which was inspired by the art of
Rene Kunert from
The kit can also be purchased at
Please check out Angela’s blog to see where you
can purchase more of her awesome kits.

You will also need a mask, I used mask 151 from

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 95, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 1 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask, resize 85%.  I re-coloured the paper to better match my tube

Paste element 4 as a new layer, resize 45% and position towards the top on the right, duplicate and move the duplicate over to the left, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste your tube as a new layer, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I used tube 1 resized 85%.

Paste frame 3 as a new layer, resize 25%, drag below the tube and place in position.   Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 5, paste element 4 on your canvas again and resize it 45% as before, position it so that the clock at the top is in the frame, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess.   Mirror your tube and then paste it again as a new layer, position also in the frame and hit delete to remove the excess.   Change the blend mode on the tube to “Screen” and apply the drop shadow to the frame.

Paste element 6 as a new layer, resize 50%, drag down to just above the mask and position at the top on the left, duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate and position on the right, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 8 as a new layer, resize 48%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2 as a new layer and drag up to just below the tube, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14 as a new layer, resize 45% and rotate 50 degrees to the right, drag below the flower, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10 as a new layer and drag above the flower, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15 as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
