About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used a really cute tube by
Lorri Kajenna.
This gorgeous tube can be purchased at

The kit is “Christmas Cheer”, an awesome collab by
and
I used Dee’s part in my tag.
You will find the kit

You will also need a mask, I used mask 141 by

I used the font

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 1 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste frame 3b as a new layer, resize 60% and rotate 10 degrees to the right.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 5, make a new layer below the frame and paste paper 3 into it, deselect.   Apply the drop shadow to the frame and merge it down onto the paper.

Paste frame 1 as a new layer and resize 55%.  Select the interior of the frame, expand the selection and make a new layer as before but this time use paper 9, again apply the drop shadow on the frame and merge it down.

Paste frame 1b as a new layer, resize it also 55%, drag it below the two merged layers and apply the drop shadow.  Now get your three frames into position making sure all of the white frame on element 1b is covered.

Paste your tube as a new layer on the top, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 30% and erased the part of merged frame 3b that showed below it.

Paste spray 5 as a new layer, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 30b as a new layer, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23 as a new layer, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14 as a new layer, resize 55% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22 as a new layer, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17a as a new layer, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32a as a new layer, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1 as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste wordart 1b as a new layer, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6 as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5 as a new layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments then crop your tag and add your copyright information and text.

Paste element 12 as a new layer, resize it 45%, duplicate it and merge the top copy down onto the original (just to make the string show more), position on your name and erase part to loop it around one of the letters.

When you are finished, export your tag on a transparent background as a png.
