About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the beautiful art of
You need a license to use Enamorte’s art, available at

I used a puke happy kit called “Rise and Shine” from
You can purchase this fabulous kit from

You will also need a mask, I used mask 84 by

I used the font

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Copy paper 12, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste Scatter 2 as a new layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Clock as a new layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Frame 3 as a new layer, resize 60% and place in position.  Click anywhere on your canvas outside of the frame to make a selection, invert the selection, contract it by 10 and make a new layer below the frame, copy paper 2 and paste it into the selection.  Paste your tube, or close up if you have one, as a new layer and position in the frame on the right hand side, invert the selection and hit delete.  Mirror the tube then copy it and paste it again, resize 80% and position in the left hand part of the frame, again hit delete.  Change the blend mode on the tubes to “Hard Light” and lower the opacity to around 60.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame.

Paste Coffee Rings as a new layer, resize 30%, mirror and place in position.

Paste Flower 2 as a new layer, resize 70%, drag down to just above the clock, place in position erasing the bottom part of the stalk and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Flowers 1 as a new layer, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Lights as a new layer on the top, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Cloud as a new layer, resize 70% and place in position.

Paste Ribbon 1 as a new layer, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Cluster 1 as a new layer, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Flower 4 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste your tube as a new layer, place in position resizing as needed and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 80%.

Paste WordArt 7 as a new layer, resize 55%, use your Pick tool to stretch it up a bit taller (remember to unsharp mask after as it will make it blurry), place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste grass as a new layer, resize 60% and flip, drag below the word art, position along the bottom of the tube and apply the drop shadow,  erase what shows below the word art and then lower the opacity of you eraser to 10 and dab around the bottom to blend it in.

Paste Books as a new layer, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Bottle as a new layer,  resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Little Bugs as a new layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Twig in a new layer, resize 55% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Thread as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Bird as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Little Bug as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Flower 3 as a new  layer, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Newspaper as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Glasses as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Muffin as a new layer, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Coffee as a new layer,  resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Steam as a new layer, resize 35% and place in position.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments, I made the mask a little larger.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
