About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

The kit is a perfect match for the tube and can be purchased at

You will need the

You will also need a background mask, I used mask 05 by Millie at

You will also need the free plugin

I used the Windows font
Century Gothic.

Please be sure to check out my “About my tutorials” before you start if this is the first tutorial of mine you have followed, thank you.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 65, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Copy Paper_13, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply Millie’s mask.  Resize 95%.

Paste Spray_5 as a new layer,  resize 70%, flip and position on the right.  Duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the left.  Erase the green in the middle where they overlap.

Paste your tube as a new layer, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow. I resized my tube 65%.

Paste one of the easels as a new layer, resize 60% and place in position behind the tube.

Open Element_2, duplicate it and close the original, resize 45% and put to one side.

Open Paper_7, duplicate and close the original.  Apply the 20-20 mask to the paper twice using the settings in my screenshot below.

Copy the paper, go back to the canvas with the resized Element_2, click with your magic wand on the canvas anywhere outside the element to make a selection,  invert the selection, go to Selections – Modify – Smooth and apply with the settings in my screenshot below then paste the paper into the selection, do not deselect.

Paste your tube again, resize as needed and position in the selection, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess tube, deselect.  I used the tube the same size as before but mirrored.  Apply Redfield Plugin “Fine Touch” to the tube selecting "Portrait" from the drop down menu at the bottom, deselect and merge visible.  Copy this merged layer and paste it on your original canvas, position on the easel and apply the drop shadow to the easel and the merged layer.

Paste Element_5a as a new layer, resize 70%, drag below the merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_5B as a new layer, resize also 70%, flip, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_11 as a new layer, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_27b as a new layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_10 as a new layer, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Wordart_2 as a new layer,  resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_12 as a new layer and drag above the merged layer, resize 35% and rotate 70 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_3 as a new layer,  resize 60% and position on the left, duplicate, move the duplicate over to the right, erase any parts that overlap hiding the join behind the tube and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste Element_ 23a as a new layer, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_13f as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 19b as a new layer, resize 50%, mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_53b as a new layer, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_61 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_13d as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Past Element_59d as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Wordart_4 as a new layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustment, then when you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
