About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used an awesome tube called “Kiss This” by
You need a license to use SkyScraps’ art, available here.

The kit is also called “Kiss This” and is by
You can purchase it here.
This kit is fabulous with loads of elements, thank you Schnegge!

You will also need a mask, I used Monti’s circle mask, here.

Font is AL Dreamboat, here.

Don’t forget to sharpen up those elements after resizing/rotating as otherwise they will be a little blurry.  For more info, check out my Tips and Tricks page.

I used a drop shadow throughout of vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 85, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and flood fill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used p01_KissIt_Schnegge.  Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper in the selection, deselect and apply the mask.  Resize 80%.

Open frame02_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 65% and move up and to the right.  Duplicate the frame and move down and to the left.

Open the tube, make your layer options and paste as a new layer, resize 38%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube as a new layer again, drag it down below both frames, resize 60% and position her butt in the right hand frame.  Activate the frame, select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20 and then invert it, activate the tube again and hit delete to remove the excess.  Paste the tube again as a new layer and repeat but this time positioning it in the left hand frame.   Apply the drop shadow to both frames.

Open beadsplat_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80%, drag down so its just above the mask layer and position so the beads are showing at the top, left hand side.  Duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate and position so they are showing at the bottom, right hand side. Apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open pendant_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Drag up so its above both frames, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open star03_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open ticket_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50% and rotate 15 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open staple_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60%, place in position on the ticket and apply the drop shadow.

Open lips02_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60% and rotate 15 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open lips03_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open starcharm_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open lollipops_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open lipstick_KissIt_Schnegge, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.  Mirror, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sticker_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open flower01_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open ribbon01_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open bow01_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 45% and rotate 30 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open ribbon02_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Mirror, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open dice_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open kitty_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Mirror, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open lips01_KissIt_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your elements and when you are happy, add your copyright information and text, then export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as png.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, if you have any questions, please email me here and of course don't forget to send me your result,  I  love to show them in the gallery!
