Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Paste element 35 and resize it 85%.

Paste element 32, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the main tube, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26, resize 80%, position below the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10 on the top, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments. 

Open the close up tube and recolour the  blue  hair mauve to match the main tube, copy merged and paste as a new image, apply the 20.20 mask, paste on your main canvas below element 26, resize 85% and mirror, move into place, erase the part that shows to the left and around the bottom of the main tube, then lower the opacity on the eraser and tab around the top of the hair to blend it in. 

Paste element 40 above element 26, resize 80% and move into place.

Go back to the main tube and erase the part around her leg to bring the swirl on element 32 above it.


When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text an export on a transparent background a png.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0,  horizontal 2, opacity 65,  blur 10.



Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste the mask and resize it 45%.  Select all, float and defloat the mask, make a new layer, paste paper 7 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.

Paste element 63, resize 40% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 114, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32, resize 60% and apply the drop shadow.  Paste the tube, resize 35% and apply the drop shadow then move the TV and tube into place.

Paste element 15, resize 40% and rotate 90 degrees to the left, position between the TV and tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 31, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 119 just above the mask, change the blend mode to “Overlay” and move into place.  Paste element 123, resize 85%, change the blend mode also to “Overlay” and move into place.  Select the mask, float and defloat it, invert the selection and  hit delete on both these two elements.

Paste element 81, resize 15%, position below element 56 and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 15% and mirror, position above element 56 and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 150, resize 20%, position above element 35, duplicate, mirror the copy, position above element 31 and apply the drop shadow to each.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 31 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask, resize it 110% and move up and to the left a little.

Paste element 23, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the mask and resize 32%.  Select all, float and defloat the mask, make a new layer and paste paper 26 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.

Paste element 159, resize 65% and move into place.

Paste frame 9 and resize 25%.  Click anywhere on your canvas outside of the frame with your magic wand to make a selection, invert the selection, contract it by 5, make a new layer below the frame and paste paper 31 into it, deselect, apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the paper and move into place.

Paste the tube, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste the mask, resize it 32% and move up a bit.  Select all, float and defloat the mask, make a new layer, paste paper 21 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.

Paste frame 5, resize 45% and move into place.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 30, paste paper 36 and resize it 30%, position in the frame, invert the selection and hit delete.  Paste element 114, resize 20% and move into place, hit delete to remove the top part of the wiring and apply the drop shadow.  Deselect, apply a drop shadow with vertical and horizontal both set to 0 , opacity to 100 and blur to 10 to the frame, and merge the frame down onto the light bulb and then again down onto the paper. 

Paste the tube (you will see I combined the head of the green layer with the black layer), resize 28%, place in position and apply the drop shadow (remember to change the shadow settings).

Paste Minja’s mask, resize 75% and mirror.  Select all, float and defloat the mask, paste paper 21 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.

Paste element 58, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 47, resize 25%, place in position erasing the top part of the element and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 101, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
