Kiss me, I'm Irish

In this tutorial Ihave used the art of Lady Mishka.

You need a license touse Lady Mishka’s art,

I purchased mine fromPSP Tubes Emporium but

they are nowavailable here.

I am using an awesomefree to use kit called

“Kiss me, I’m Irish”by

Lina’s Designs.

You can get the kithere.

You will also need amask, I used Insatiable Dreams mask 565, here.

Font used is Ale andWenches,

a free font here.

I always remind you lol but remember to sharpen yourelements after rotating or resizing as otherwise they will be a little blurry(adjust – sharpness – unsharp mask, radius and clipping 5, strength 30).

Drop shadow used throughout is vertical and horizontal 2,opacity 70, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Make a new layer on your canvas and flood fill with thecolour #6cba3b. Apply the mask and resize 85%.

Open LD_Kiss_Me_I’M_Irish_paper(5) and copy. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection and de-select. Apply the mask again, resize 75% and mergedown onto the first mask layer.

Open LD_Kiss_Me_I’M_Irish_Frame(2) and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%.

Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand andexpand the selection by 10. Flood fill with a dark green, I used #148414. Donot de-select.

Open your tube or the close up if you have one, mirror, copy and paste as a new layer onyour canvas. Drag down below the frame layer, resize if needed and place inposition in the frame. Invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excesstube. Apply the drop shadow to both thetube and the frame layers.

Open LD_Kiss_Me_I’m_Irish_Bow and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%, position on the top, right handcorner of the frame and apply the drop shadow.

Open LD_Kiss_Me_I’m_Irish_Button(2) and paste as a newlayer. Resize 25%, drag down below thebow layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube again, undo the mirror, copy and paste againas a new layer, bring to the top, resize if needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open LD_Kiss_me_I’m_Irish_Pot_Of_Gold(2) and paste as a newlayer. Resize 65%, drag down below thetube layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open LD_Kiss_me_I’m_Irish_Rainbow and paste as a new layer. Rotate 20 degrees to the left and resize 75%,drag down below the pot and place in position.

Open LD_Kiss_me_I’m_Irish_Four_Leaf_Clover and paste as anew layer. Mirror, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open LD_Kiss_me_I’m_Irish_Bubbles and paste as a new layer.Resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open LD_Kiss_me_I’m_Irish_Green_Rose and paste as a newlayer. Resize 40%, place in position andapply the drop shadow.

Open LD_Kiss_me_I’m_Irish_Beer(3) and paste as a newlayer. Resize 60%, place in position andapply the drop shadow.

Open LD_Kiss_me_I’m_Irish_Apple and paste as a new layer.Resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open LD_Kiss_me_I’m_Irish_Cupcake and paste as a newlayer. Resize 20%, place in position andapply the drop shadow.

Open LD_Kiss_me_I’m_Irish_Dice, paste as a new layer andbring to the top. Resize 25% and rotate10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on atransparent background as png. Beat of my Heart

In this tutorial I amusing the beautiful art of Rossana Castellino.

You need a license touse Rossana’s art,

available atDreamscape Imaging.

I am using a fabulouskit by Pimp’d Designz called

“For Eternity”.

You can get the kit here.

You will also need amask, I used Monti’s circle mask, here.

If you want to do theanimations, you will need Animation Shop.

I used dbs fluxbright noise filter for the sparkle but if you don’t have it

you can use adjustnoise in paintshop.

Font used is NewRomantics, a free font, here.

The animation part of this tutorial is foradvanced Paintshop users.

Don’t forget that after you have resized/rotated theelements, they will become a little blurry so we need to sharpen them up again(adjust – sharpness – unsharp mask – radius and clipping 5, strength 40).

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 550 and flood fill withwhite.

Open pd12-pp-11 and copy. Make a new layer on your canvas,select all, paste the paper into the selection and apply Monti’s circle mask,resize 90%.

Open pd12-mask-bonus and paste as a new layer, resize 80%.

Open pd12-pp06 and paste as a new layer. Resize also80%. Go back to the mask bonus layer, goto selections – select all – selections float – selections de-float, expand theselection by 1 and invert it, go back to the paper layer and hit delete. Do notde-select.

Open your tube, mirror it and then copy and paste it as anew layer. I re-coloured my tube to complement the kit. Resize the tube, position it inside theselection and again hit delete to remove the excess, lower the opacity toaround 40. Go back to the original maskbonus layer and apply a drop shadow vertical and horizontal 1, opacity 80, blur3. Close off your white background layer and “merge visible”. Re-open yourbackground layer.

Open pd12-heart-03 and paste as a new layer. Mirror, resize70% and place in position. Apply the same drop shadow as you did for the maskbonus layer.

Open pd12-frame-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55% and rotate 80 degrees to theright. Move over to the left.

Open another of the papers and copy, this time I usedpd12-pp07. Select the interior of theframe with your magic wand and expand the selection by 10, make a new layerbelow the frame layer and paste the paper into the selection, de-select.

Open your tube again, undo the mirror, copy and paste it asa new layer. Resize as needed and position inside the frame. Apply a dropshadow vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 70, blur 10 to both the tube andframe layers.

Open pd12-key and paste as a new layer. Resize 35%, drag down below the tube layerand position on the left hand side of the frame. Apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd12-ribbon05 and paste as a new layer. Resize 30%,place in position on the chain and apply the last drop shadow. Go back to thekey layer and erase any of the chain that shows above the bow.

Open pd12-leaf-02, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Resize 40%, duplicate and mirrorthe duplicate. Place the leaves roughlyin position and apply the last drop shadow to each layer.

Open pd12-flower-01 and paste as a new layer, resize 35%,place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd12-heart-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 35%, place in position and apply thelast drop shadow.

Open pd12-flower-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 35%, place in position and apply thelast drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessaryadjustments. When you are happy, crop your tag, resize if required and addyour copyright information and text.

Ok! Hope you are still with me for the animation! It’s not difficult but we are going to bedoing two animations and putting our tag together in animation shop.

To make things a little easier, first will we merge some ofour layers.

Close off the heart layer and all the layers below it. Youshould have just your copyright, name and the top flower layer open. Mergevisible. Rename this layer “top” and then close it off. (If you are going to do tags with different names, leave the name off also and add to the finished tag).

Leave closed your white background layer, circle masklayer and heart layer and then open all the layers between the mask and the heart layer.Merge visible and rename “middle”.

Rename your bottom white layer “bottom”.

You should now have five layers, the “bottom” white layer,the circle mask layer, the “middle” layer, the heart layer and the “top” layer.

First we will do the animation on the mask layer. Duplicatethis layer 3 times so you have four copies. Apply dbs flux, bright noise on the bottom layer with intensity set to20 and “mix” checked. Rename that layer “mask 1” and close it off. Open thesecond copy and again apply the bright noise filter hitting the “mix” buttononce. Rename “mask 2”. Do the same forthe third and fourth layers.

Open up your heart layer, click on it to activate it andduplicate it. Close the original and we will work on the duplicate. Activateyour warp brush and with the settings shown in my screenshot below, click inthe centre of the heart once. Because the warp brush makes it a little blurry,apply the unsharp mask but change the strength to 30. That’s it lol, how easy was that. Rename theselayers “heart 1” and the duplicate “heart 2”. Note: I am using PSP X3, the warp brush may be in a different place in other versions.

The screenshot below is how your layers palette should nowlook.

Close off your “top” layer, both “heart” layers and mask layers 2, 3 and 4. What should be open is just your “bottom”,“middle” and “mask 1” layers. Right click on your tag, copy merged and paste inanimation shop.

Close off “mask 1” layer and open “mask 2” layer. Againright click and paste “before current frame” in animation shop. Do the same thing with the last two mask layers.

In animation shop, go to edit – select all – edit – copy.Click on the first frame of your animation and paste before current frame. You should now have 8 frames of the noiseanimation. We need to do this because the heart layer runs a lot slower thanthe noise layer.

Back in paintshop, close off “middle” and all the masklayers and open “heart 1” and “top”.Right click and “copy merged”. In animationshop, paste “as a new animation”. Duplicate it 3 times so you have 4 frames.

Back in paintshop, close off “heart 1” and open “heart 2”,copy merged again, take into animation shop, click on the last heart frame toactivate it, right click and “paste after current frame”. Duplicate this frame3 times also. You now should have 4 frames, the first four with heart 1 and thesecond four with heart 2.

Go to edit – select all – edit – copy, click on the firstnoise frame and again go to edit – select all. Right click again on the frameand “paste into selected frame”. Placethe heart into position, click and it will paste into each frame.

Run your tag through the optimization wizard on the defaultsettings and save as a gif.

Don’t forget to sharpen your elements afterresizing/rotating to take away the blurriness (adjust – sharpen – unsharp mask,radius and clipping 5, strength 30).

Drop shadow used throughout is vertical and horizontal 2,opacity 70, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvast 600 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used sb_pmt+getting-lucky_pp1. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask making sure “invertmask data” box is checked. Resize 85%.

Open sb_pmt_getting-lucky_frame2 and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%.

Open your paper again or choose a new one, I used the samepaper as the mask. Paste the paper as a new layer, resize 80% and drag downbelow the frame layer. Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand,expand the selection by 10, go back to your paper layer, invert the selectionand hit delete. Save the selection tothe alpha channel as we will need it again later (selections – load/saveselection – save selection to alpha channel, ok). De-select.

On your tube, copy and paste it as a new layer and bring itto the top, resize as required, place in position on the frame and apply thedrop shadow.

Paste your tube again, mirror it, drag down below the framelayer, resize as required, position nicely in the frame. Open the selection again (selections – load/saveselection – load selection from alpha channel - load). Hit delete to remove the excess tube. Applythe drop shadow to both the frame and tube layers and lower the opacity of thetube to around 60.

Open sb_pmt_getting-lucky_print1 and paste as a newlayer. Resize 75%, duplicate and closeout the original copy for now. Mirror the duplicate and position just above theframe layer on the left hand side. Openthe original copy, flip it, drag it down to just above the mask layer andposition on the right hand side.

Open sb_pmt_getting-lucky_frame4 and paste as new layer,drag up so its just below your main tube layer. Resize 70%, mirror, place inposition and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_getting-lucky_greenery1 and paste as a newlayer. Resize 50% and rotate 15 degreesto the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_getting-lucky_flower1 and paste as a new layer. Resize 40%, place in position and apply thedrop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_getting-lucky_flower2 and paste as a newlayer. Resize 40%, place in position andapply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_getting-lucky_horse shoe and paste as a newlayer. Resize 30% and rotate 15 degreesto the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessaryadjustments, crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text and then export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or ona transparent background as a png.

Open a new transparent canvas 600 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I usedSkyScraps-Cytilicious-pp3. Make a newlayer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, de-selectand apply the mask. Resize 80%.

Open SkyScraps-Cytilicious-e69 and paste as a new layer. Resize55%. Select the four interior parts of the frame with your magic wand andexpand the selection by 10. Make a new layer below the frame layer and floodfill with a beige colour taken from the element, I used #c0a97a. Do notde-select.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer, resize as requiredand position inside the element. Invert the selection and hit delete to removethe excess tube, de-select. Apply thedrop shadow to the frame layer and change the blend mode on the tube to “overlay”.

Copy your tube again and paste as a new layer, resize asrequired, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-Cutilicious-e76 and paste as a new layer. Resize 40%, drag down below the tube layer,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-Cytilicious-e10 and paste as a new layer.Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-Cytilicious-e14 and paste as a newlayer. Resize 65%, place in position andapply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-Cytilicious_e20 and paste as a newlayer. Mirror, resize 40%, place inposition and apply the drop shadow.

Open one of the flowers, I used SkyScraps-Cytilicious-e56which I re-coloured beige. Resize 30%and duplicate. Place both flowers into position, I moved one down below element10. Apply the drop shadow to each.

Open SkyScraps-Cytilicious-e24 and paste as a new layer. I resized this 33%, applied the drop shadowand then positioned it so my tube was holding it by erasing out the partcovered by her thumb. The easiest way to do this is to blow yourcanvas up large and lower the opacity of the element so you can see what partyou need to erase.

Check the positioning of your layers and make any necessary adjustments. When you are happy, crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyright information and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

Open your close up tube, mirror it and paste as a new layer.Resize as needed and position inside the frame, invert the selection and hitdelete to remove the excess tube. Apply the drop shadow to both the frame and tube layers and the lower the opacityof the tube to around 65.

Open your main tube and paste as a new layer, resize asrequired, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-wings and paste as a new layer. Resize 75%, dragdown below the main tube layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-ribbon05 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-bike-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55% and place in position.

Open pd12-print-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%,drag down so it just above the masked layers, place in position and apply thedrop shadow.

Open pd12-fence and paste as a new layer. Resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-frame-04 and paste as a new layer. Resize 65%, place in position and apply thedrop shadow.

Open pd12-print-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments, then crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyright information.

Open your font and type out your name, it doesnt matter what colour you use. Apply Alien Skin, Eye Candy 5, Impact, Chrome. Click on "Basic" and choose "Indoor - Office Space". Apply the drop shadow to the text.

Open sb_pmt_whispers_kit_greenery and paste as a new layer. Resize75%, drag down below the frame and paper layers, place in position and applythe drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_whispers_kit_swirl1 and paste as a new layer. Resize60%, drag down below the greenery, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_whispers_kit_greenery2, paste as a new layer andbring to the top. Flip, rotate 10degrees to the right, resize 70%, place in position on the frame and apply thedrop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_whispers_kit_flower4 and paste as a newlayer. Mirror, resize 60%, place inposition and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_whispers_kit_flower1 and paste as a new layer. Resize60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube again, undo the mirror, copy and paste as anew layer, resize as required, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_whispers_kit_jar and paste as a new layer. Resize 30%, drag down below the tube, placein position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_whispers_kit_bird, paste as a new layer andbring to the top. Resize 15%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and place bothbirds into position, apply the drop shadow to each.

Check the positioning of all your elements and make anynecessary adjustments, crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text and export as jpeg with compression set to 5 or on atransparent background as a png.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 550 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open PDS_B-paper5 andcopy. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into theselection, de-select and apply the mask. Resize 90%.

Open PDS_B-frame1 andpaste as a new layer. Resize 75%, duplicate and close off the duplicate whilewe work on the original layer.

Rotate the original frame ten degrees to the left. Selectthe interior with your magic wand and expand the selection by 10. Open PDS_B-paper10,paste as a new layer and drag down below the frame layer. Resize 60%, invertthe selection and hit delete to remove the excess. Apply the drop shadow to theframe layer and merge it down onto the paper layer.

Open up the duplicate frame layer and do the same thing -select the interior and expand the selection, paste the paper as a new layer,drag it down below the frame layer, and hit delete to remove the excess. Thistime do not de-select.

Open your tube, mirror it and paste as a new layer, resizeas required, position it inside the frame and hit delete to remove the excess,apply the drop shadow and change the blend mode to “soft light”. Apply the drop shadow to the frame.

Open PDS_B-print andpaste as a new layer. Resize 75%, drag down below both frame layers and placein position. Apply a drop shadow but changing the vertical and horizontal to 1,opacity to 30 and blur to 3.

Open your tube again, paste it as a new layer and bring tothe top. Resize if needed and place in position, apply the main drop shadow.

Open PDS_B-flower2 andpaste as a new layer. Mirror, resize 70% and rotate 15 degrees to the left. Placein position and apply the drop shadow. Erase the excess stalk at the bottom.

Open PDS_B-ribbon3, pasteas a new layer and bring to the top. Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow, erase parts soits wrapped around your tube. Draw a rectangular selection around the bottomspray on flower2, hit delete, paste it as a new layer, bring it over the ribbonand place it back into position.

Open PDS_B-flower4 andpaste as a new layer. Resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_B-scatter andpaste as a new layer. Mirror, resize 60%, place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Open PDS_B-heart1 andpaste as a new layer. Resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text. I put an inner bevel on the text with the settings belowand then applied the drop shadow.

Open one of the papers and copy, I usedCT-SWALKPAPER16. Make a new layer onyour canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, de-select andapply Monti’s circle mask. Resize 80%.

Open CT-ENVELOPE1 and paste as a new layer. Rotate 15degrees to the right and resize 45%. Move over slightly to the right and applythe drop shadow.

Open CT-SWIRL1 and paste as a new layer. Resize 75% andposition slightly to the left. Apply thedrop shadow.

Open your close up tube, copy and paste it as a new image.Crop it if necessary, I cropped mine close to her hair cropping out the bit ofscarf on the side. Apply the 20 20 mask to your tube twice. Copy it and pasteit on your main canvas, resize so it fits nicely in the swirl. If you have anyhair or anything showing outside the swirl, take your eraser brush on size 100and opacity 20 and dab it around the edge of the tube to blend it in.

Open CT-SWIRLPATTERN and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%,drag down below the tube layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your main tube, paste as a new layer and bring to the top, resize asrequired, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open ct-flowerCluster and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%, dragdown below the tube layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open ct-Sequins and paste as a new layer. Resize 45%, dragdown below the flower cluster layer, place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Open String-2, paste as a new layer and drag over the cluster layer. Resize60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open one of the butterflies and paste as new layer. Resize 15%,duplicate and mirror the duplicate. Place in position and apply the drop shadowto each.

Crop your tag, resize if required and apply your copyrightinformation.

Open the font, choose a lightish colour for your backgroundand black for the foreground with stroke width set to 2. Write you name, I hadmine set on size 40 and then I pulled it out a bit wider. Convert the text toraster layer and then go to selections – select all – selections float –selections de-float. Apply Alien Skin, Eye Candy 5, Impact, Glass choosing “clear”in settings. De-select and apply the drop shadow.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used CBJ_Sentimental_Paper4. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask. If you areusing the same mask as me, you need to have “invert mask data” checked. Resize85%, move over to the left, duplicate and move the duplicate over to the right.You can make any adjustments later.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_RoundFrameand paste as a new layer. Resize 75%.

Open another of the papers and copy, this time I used CBJ_Sentimental_Paper2. Select the interior of the frame with yourmagic wand and expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below the framelayer and paste the paper into the selection, de-select. Go back to the framelayer and apply the drop shadow. Merge the frame layer down onto the paperlayer and move over slightly to the right.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_FloralFrameand paste as a new layer. Resize 50%.

Select another paper from the kit and copy, I used CBJ_Sentimental_Paper12.Select the interior of this frame with your magic wand, expand the selection asbefore, make a new layer below the frame and paste the paper into theselection, do not de-select.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer. Resize as requiredand position nicely in the frame, invert the selection and hit delete to removethe excess tube. Apply the drop shadow to both the frame and tube layers. Mergethe tube layer down onto the paper layer, copy it, paste it as a new image andminimise it, we will use it later. Back on your main canvas, merge the framelayer down onto the merged tube/paper layer and move over a little to the left.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_Scatterand paste as a new layer. Resize 50% and position along the bottom of themerged tube layer.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_Blossomand paste as a new layer. Mirror, resize35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_SilkPlantand paste as a new layer. Resize 50%, place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_FoldRibbonand paste as a new layer. Resize 30%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_Birdand paste as a new layer. Resize 30%, place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Minimize your tag for a while.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_ChromeHrt,duplicate and close down the original. Bring up the merged layer that youminimised, copy it, paste it as a new layer and drag it down below the chromeheart. Resize so it fits nicely in the heart, I resized mine 30%. Select the interior of the frame with yourmagic wand and expand by 5, invert the selection, activate the merged tubelayer and hit delete to remove the excess. Apply the drop shadow to the ChromeHeart. Open CBJ_Sentimental_Pin3and paste as a new layer. Rotate 80degrees to the left and place in position. Erase a part of the pin so it lookslike its going through the bow and then apply the drop shadow. Merge visible, copy, bring up your tag andpaste it as a new layer. Resize 70%, place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_HrtWord2and paste as a new layer. Resize 53%, drag down so its just above the masklayer and place in position.

Open CBJ_Sentimental_Swirland paste as a new layer. Resize 45% and place in position so it shows on theleft hand side. Duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate and position on theright hand side. Apply the drop shadow to each layer but change the opacity to40.

Check the positioning of your masks and elements and whenyou are happy, crop your tag, resize as required and add your copyright information.

Open the font, pick white for your foreground colour and acolour from the kit for your background colour. Type your name and apply aninner bevel as in my screenshot below. Unsharp mask on the text, place inposition and apply the main drop shadow.

Open pd12-print-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%,drag down below the flower layer and place in position.

Open pd12-feather-02, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Resize 70% and rotate 15 degrees to the right. Move over a bit to the leftand apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd12-frame-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%.

Open pd12-00-09 and copy. Select the interior of the framewith your magic wand and expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below theframe layer and paste the paper into the selection. Do not de-select.

Open your close up tube, mirror and paste as a new layer.Resize as required and position nicely in the frame. Invert the selection andhit delete to remove the excess tube. Apply the drop shadow to the tube and setthe blend mode to “overlay”. Go back to the frame layer and apply the same dropshadow.

Open pd12-ribbon-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 30%,place in position on the frame and apply the last drop shadow.

Open your main tube and paste as a new layer, resize asrequired and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd12-print-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%,place in position along the bottom of the frame/main tube and apply a dropshadow changing the horizontal and vertical to 1 and the blur to 3.

Open pd12-glass-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 45% andduplicate. Resize the duplicate 95% and drag it down below the first copy.Place both glasses in position and apply the original drop shadow to each.

Open pd12-flower-06 and paste as a new layer. Mirror, resize45%, position between the two glasses and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd12-flower-02, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-flower-04 and paste as a new layer. Rotate 90degrees to the right, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-frame-03 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55% and rotate 90 degrees in eitherdirection.

Open pd12-pp-03 and copy. Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand theselection by 20, make a new layer below your frame layer and paste the paperinto the selection. Do not de-select.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer. Resize as requiredand position inside the frame, invert the select and hit delete to remove theexcess, lower the opacity to around 60. Do not de-select.

Open pd12-flame-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% andposition so the flames are lapping over the tube and then hit delete to removethe excess, you can now de-select.

Go back to the frame layer and apply the drop shadow. Closeoff the white background and mask layer and merge visible, re-open the closedlayers. Position your merged layer over to the left a little.

Open pd12-print-03, paste as a new layer and drag down belowthe merged layer. Resize 60% and move over slightly to the right. I sharpenedthis element twice, then apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-moon and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%, placein position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your main tube, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop, resize as required and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-leaves-01, paste as a new layer, drag down belowthe top tube layer and resize 45%. Duplicate this layer and close off theduplicate for now. Position the originallayer along the bottom of the frame erasing any of the stalk that sticks out onthe left hand side, apply the drop shadow. Open the copy and rotate 90 degrees to the left, mirror and place inposition over the left hand side of the frame, apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-flower-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 30%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-flower-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 20% andduplicate, resize the duplicate 80%, place both flowers in position and applythe drop shadow.

Open pd12-heart-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55%, drag down so its between to twoblack flower layers, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-smoke, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Rotate 90 degrees to the left, resize50% and place in position.

Open pd12-hearts-03 and paste as a new layer. Resize 35%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open dcorbitt_ifeelpretty_frame2 and paste as a new layer. Resize80%, move over to the right and apply the drop shadow.

Open dcorbitt_ifeelpretty_frame1 and paste as a new layer. Resize85%, position slightly to the left and apply the drop shadow.

Open dcorbitt_ifeelpretty_mirror and paste as a new layer. Resize70%, again move slightly over to the left and apply the drop shadow.

Open your close up tube and paste as a new layer. Resize asrequired. As we can't select the interior of the mirror, lower the opacity of thetube so you can see the mirror through it to get the position right. When you are happy, set theopacity of the tube to around 40 and erase the part that is outside and over the frame part of the mirror.

Open your main tube and paste as a new layer, resize as required,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open dcorbitt_ifeelpretty_feather and paste as a new layer.Mirror, resize 80%, drag down below your main tube layer, place in position andapply the drop shadow.

Open dcorbitt_ifeelpretty_lipstick and paste as a new layer.Resize 55%, place in position on the right hand side of the tube and apply thedrop shadow.

Open dcorbitt_ifeelpretty_yarn and paste as a new layer. Resize55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open dcorbitt_ifeelpretty_flower and paste as a new layer. Rsize80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open dcorbitt_ifeelpretty_flower4 and paste as a new layer. Resize70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open one of the papers in the kit and copy, I used dcorbitt_thatstight_sp1. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask.

Open another of the papers and copy. Click on “circle” layer, go to selections –select all – selections float – selections defloat, make a new layer and paste thepaper into the selection, then deselect. Delete the original circle layer andthen click on “circle white” layer and apply a drop shadow, vertical andhorizontal 0, opacity 90, blur 7.

Click on “rect01-white”layer and apply the same drop shadowas you did for the white circle.

Open another of the papers and copy. Click on “rect02” layerand do the same as you did for the circle layer, pasting the paper into theselection and then apply the drop shadow as before to the “rect02-white” layer.

Drag “note1” layer up until its just under “note2” layer andmerge the two layers together. Open another of the papers and paste it into thenotes as before. Apply a drop shadow, vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 75,blur 5 to “note01-white” and “note02-white” layers.

Now do the same thing with note3, pasting in the paper andputting the same drop shadow as the previous notes on the white note layer.

Do the same thing with each of the star layers but apply thefirst drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 0, opacity 90 and blur 7 to thewhite star layers. When you have done, close off all the layers other than thecoloured and white star layers and merge visible, then re-open your closedlayers. We need to do this as we will drag the stars down later.

Finally do the same with the doodle layer and apply a dropshadow, vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 70, blur 5.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer and resize asrequired. Drag the tube down to just above the circle layer and position insidethe circle. Apply the last drop shadow.

Now drag your merged star and the doodle layers down untilthey are below the tube layer.

Open dcorbitt_thatstight_cellphone and paste as a new layer. Rotate 15 degrees to the left and resize30%, place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Open dcorbitt_thatstight_ipod and paste as a new layer. Rotate15 degrees to the right and resize 65%, place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Open dcorbitt_thatstight_earbuds and paste as a new layer,drag up above the tube layer. Rotate 45degrees to the left and resize 65%, place in position and apply the dropshadow. Draw a rectangular selectionaround the bottom loop on the right hand side and hit delete, right click and “pasteas a new layer”, bring to the top and join the two pieces back together so thatthe loop is now over the top of the rectangles.

Open dcorbitt_thatstight_staples and paste as a new layer,it should be on the top. Resize 60% and place in position on the bottom, rightof the rectangles. Duplicate and drag the duplicate down below the cell phonelayer and place in position. Apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open dcoribitt_thatstight_flower, paste as a new layer andbring to the top. Duplicate, place both flowers in position and apply the dropshadow to each.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on atransparent background as a png.

Remember to sharpen your elements after rotating/resizing totake away the blurriness (adjust – sharpen – unsharp mask – radius and clipping5, strength 50).

Drop shadow used throughout is vertical and horizontal 5,opacity 75, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 600 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used pd12-pp-06. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask.

Open pd12-arch and paste as a new layer. Resize 85%, moveover slightly to the left. We will work on this layer again later so no dropshadow at the moment.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, resize asrequired and position inside the arch, apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-mesh and paste as a new layer. Resize 75%, drag downbelow the arch layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-plants-03, paste as a new layer and drag it up abovethe arch. Mirror, resize 65%, place in position on the left of the arch andapply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-vine, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.Resize 85% and apply the drop shadow. Now we need to position this vine so itshanging over the tube like she is hiding behind it. A large part of it willstick up at the top but don’t worry about that for now.

Open pd12-plants-04 and paste as a new layer. Mirror, resize45% and place in position so the widest part on the left goes over the vine,apply the drop shadow. Now go back to the vine layer and erase that large partat the top.

Open pd12-peas and paste as a new layer. Resize 30%, placein position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-key as paste as a new layer. Resize 30%, place inposition and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positioning of your elements so far and make anyadjustments.

Go back to the arch layer and duplicate it, being careful not to move its position, drag theduplicate up so its just above the tube layer. Carefully erase the back legs ofthe arch so it looks like the tube is sitting under the arch. Apply the dropshadow to this layer only.

When you are happy with everything so far, close off thewhite background and the mask layers and merge visible (save it first in caseyou want to go back lol). At this stage I had the front leg of the arch showing abit below the tube but we will take care of that later.

Open pd12-door and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%, dragdown below your merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-plants-05 and paste as a new layer. Resize 65%,drag down below the door layer and position so a little bit of it is showing onthe right hand side of the door.

Open pd12_sparkle, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Resize 80% and place in position.

Open pd12-book and paste as a new layer. Resize 30%, placein position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-grass and paste as a new layer. Resize 45% andduplicate twice. Close off the top duplicate, we will come back to thatlater. Mirror one of the copies andarrange along the bottom of the tube. Merge the top copy down onto the bottom copy and apply the drop shadow. If youstill have some parts of the arch showing below this layer you can erase them. I blended the bottom of the grass layer intothe mask layer by dabbing the eraser brush on it size 50 and opacity 10.

Open up the grass layer that you hid, mirror it and drag itdown below your main merged layer and position it so a little is showing alongthe bottom of the door. Apply the drop shadow to this layer also.

Open pd12-flower-overlay and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%,drag down below that last grass layer and place in position on the bottom ofthe door, apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-sign, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on atransparent background as a png.

Open paper04 and copy. Select the interior of the frame withyour magic wand, making sure to include all parts of it, make a new layer belowthe frame layer and paste the paper into the selection, de-select. Go back to the frame layer and apply the dropshadow.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer, resize if required,position inside the frame and apply the drop shadow.

Open MiniCharmFrame and paste as a new layer. Resize 75%,drag down so its just above the mask layer, place in position and apply thedrop shadow. Paste your tube as a newlayer again, drag down below the frame and position nicely inside. Activate themask layer, go to select – select all – selections float – selections defloat –selections invert, click on the tube layer to activate it and hit delete.

Open Bow04 and paste as a new layer. Drag this layer up soits between the frame and top tube layer, rotate 90 degrees to the left andresize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Hanger&Chain and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%,drag below the bow layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Flowers02, paste as a new layer and bring to the top. Resize75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of all your layers and when you arehappy, crop your tag and resize if required then add your copyright informationand text.

If you are not wishing to do the animation, save your tag as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

Animation:

Click on the paper layer that is inside the frame to activate it and duplicate it twice so you have three copies.

Apply Greg's Factory Outlet, Volume II, Pool Shadow filter to each layer with the following settings :-

Close out the second and third copy, right click and "copy merged", paste in animation shop as a new animation. Open the second layer, again right click and "copy merged", page in animation shop "before current frame". Do the same thing with the third copy.

Go to edit - section all - animation - frame properties and change the value to 20.

Run your tag through the optimization wizard on the default settings and save as a gif.

On resizing, elements become a little blurry so don’t forgetto sharpen them (adjust – sharpness – unsharp mask, radius and clipping 5,strength 30.

Drop shadow used throughout is vertical 5, horizontal -5,opacity 80, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used tk-deadsexy-paper7. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask. Resize 85%.

Open tk-deadsexy-3hearts and paste as a new layer. Resize75% and move over a bit to the left. This element already has a dropshadow so no need to add one.

Open tk-deadsexy-splatter1 and paste as a new layer. Resize also 75%, drag down below the 3heartelement and duplicate. Move one layer down and to the left and the other layerup and to the right. Apply the drop shadow to each layer.

Open tk-deadsexy-fence and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open tk-deadsexy-string2, paste as a new layer, bring to thetop, resize 75% and place in position.Again this element has a drop shadow so no need to add one.

Open tk-deadsexy-collar and paste as a new layer. Resize80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open tk-deadsexy-frame5 and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%and position on the collar, we will move it inside the collar later but youneed to get it in the right position now.

Open another of the papers and copy, this time I usedtk-deadsexy-paper6. Select the interiorof the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 10, make a newlayer below the frame layer and paste the paper into the selection. Apply thedrop shadow to the frame.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, resize asrequired and position inside the frame and then apply the drop shadow.

Go back to the string layer, close off your tube layer soyou can see what you are doing better and draw an oblong selection around theloop on the right hand side as in my screenshot below, hit delete, right clickand paste the deleted part as a new layer and move up so its between the frameand the tube and then line the two parts up.

Now use the same technique on the collar to position theframe/tube inside it drawing the rectangle on the bottom part of the collar.

Open tk-deadsexy-wordart1 and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positioning of all your layers and make anynecessary adjustments, crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on atransparent background as a png.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used pd12-pp-04. Make anew layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection andde-select, apply the mask. Resize 90%.

Open pd12-frame-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60% androtate 15 degrees to the right.

Open another of the papers and copy, this time I usedpd12-pp-06. Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expandthe selection by 10, make a new layer below the frame layer and paste the paperinto the selection, do not de-select.

Open your tube, duplicate it and close the original, mirrorand copy and paste as a new layer on your canvas. Position the tube nicely insidethe frame re-sizing if needed, invert the selection and hit delete to removethe excess, de-select. Apply the drop shadow to both the tube and frame layers.Lower the opacity of the tube to around 60. Close off the white background and mask layers and merge visible. Re-openthe closed layers and move the merged layer over a little to the right.

Open pd12-tulle-01, paste as new layer and drag down belowthe merged layer. Resize 70% and place in position.

Open pd12-print-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55%,place in position on the left and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-greens-01 and paste as a new layer. Rotate 90degrees to the right and then mirror, resize 50%, place in position on the leftand apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-greens-03 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-key-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%, placein position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd12-print-01, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Resize 60% and place in position along the bottom of the merged layer. Applya drop shadow but change the vertical and horizontal to 2 and the opacity to 5.

Open pd12-kiss and paste as a new layer. Resize 40%, placein position and apply the original drop shadow.

Open pd12-flower-05 and paste as a new layer. Resize 35%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Undo the mirror on your tube, copy and paste as a new layer,resize as required, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessaryadjustments then crop and resize if required. Add your copyright informationand text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparentbackground as png.

The paper I used is a little light but I wanted the colours so I duplicated it and merge the duplicate down onto the original layer.

Open pd-pp-02 paper and copy. Again make a new layer on yourcanvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, de-select and applypd-mask-01 which is included with the kit. Resize 90%.

Open pd-tire, copy and paste as a new image. Resize80%. Select the interior of the tirewith your magic wand and expand the selection by 20. Make a new layer below the tire layer and fillthe selection with colour #2c332c, do not de-select.

Open your close up tube and paste as a new layer, resize asrequired and position nicely in the tire, invert the selection and hit deleteto remove the excess tube, de-select. Lower the opacity of the tube layer toaround 70, close out the tire layer and merge visible. Apply Paint Shop’sblinds texture with the width set to 3, opacity 20, colour black and horizontaland light from left/top both checked. Re-open the tire layer and apply the dropshadow. Merge visible, copy and paste on your main canvas and move over a bit to theleft.

Open a new transparent canvas 600 by 600 pixels. Openpd-frame-05 and paste as a new layer on this canvas. Resize 58% and rotate 70degrees to the left. Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand andexpand the selection by one. Open paper pd-pp10 and copy, make a new layerbelow the frame layer and paste the paper into the selection, de-select. Lowerthe opacity of the paper to around 55. Open your main tube and paste as a new layer, resize as needed andposition nicely in the frame. Apply the drop shadow to both the tube and framelayers, merge visible and copy and paste it onto your main canvas. Move over tothe right a bit.

Open pd-fence-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%, dragdown below the two merged layers, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-print-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 80% andmove slightly up and to the left, duplicate and move the duplicate over theright and erase any part that overlaps with the first copy. Apply the dropshadow to each layer.

Open pd-print-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%, placein position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-string-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-screw-02, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.Resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of all your layers and make anynecessary adjustments then crop your tag, resize if required and add yourcopyright information.

Select a blue colour for the foreground and a green for the backgroundfrom the pd-print-02 element. Set the background to gradient and click on edit to open the gradient editor, select BLACKFOREWHITE to make a gradient of your two colours and then change the settings as in myscreenshot below and type out your name. Convert your text to a raster layer, go to selections – select all –selections float – selections de-float and apply Alien Skin, Eye Candy 5,Impact, Glass with settings on “clear”, de-select and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_clock and paste as a new layer.Resize 65%, drag down below the tube layer, place in position and apply thedrop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_branch2 and paste as a new layer. Resize70%, place in position and erase the bottom part of the stalk out, apply thedrop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_dress and paste as a new layer. Resize60% and rotate ten degrees to the right, place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Now we have those elements roughly in position, we are goingto work on the bottom part of the tag. Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_paper and pasteas a new layer. Resize 60% and rotate ten degrees to the right. Drag down soits just above the mask layer and place in position so the roll part is show atthe top. Duplicate this layer and move down so just a small part is showing atthe bottom. Apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_leaves1 and paste as a new layer. Resize75% and place in position so the leaves are showing at the bottom and to theleft of the frame. Duplicate this layer, mirror and flip it and position so theleaves are showing along the top. Duplicate this second copy and mirror it,drag it up so its above the paper element and position on the right. Apply thedrop shadow to each layer. I erased aleaf on the bottom, left hand layer that was overlapped by the top copy.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_shatteredglass, paste as a newlayer and bring to the top. Resize 70% and place in position, apply the dropshadow. Erase those long pieces out that come outside the tag on the right handside.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_ribbon1 and paste as a new layer. Resize60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_flower6 and paste as a new layer. Resize50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_key and paste as a new layer.Resize 35% and rotate 25 degrees to the right, place in position and apply thedrop shadow. I sharpened this elementtwice.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_flower8 and paste as a new layer. Resize40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_femme_fatale_cat and paste as a new layer. Resize45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of all your layers and make any necessary adjustments, crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to five or on atransparent background as a png.

Open sb_pmt_happy new year_stars, paste as a new layer andbring to the top. Resize 40%, mirror, place in position and apply the dropshadow changing the vertical and horizontal back to 2.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer. Resize as required,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open a couple of the flowers or other décor elements, resizeto your liking, drag down below the tube layer and place in position. I usedsb_pmt_happy new year_flower2 resized 50% and sb_pmt_happy new year_flower 5resized 40%. Don’t forget to apply the drop shadow to each layer.

Open sb_pmt_happy new year_sparkles and paste as a newlayer, resize 80% and place in position.

Open sb_pmt_happy new year_champagne bucket, paste as a newlayer and bring to the top. Resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of all your layers and when you are happy, crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on atransparent background as a png.

Open sb_pmt_holiday-ice-snow, paste as a new layer and bringto the top. Resize 70% and apply Monti’s circle mask. Position along the bottomof the globe.

Open sb_pmt_holiday-ice-tree and paste as a new layer.Resize 45%, place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_holiday-ice_branch and paste as a new layer.Resize 50%, place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_holiday-ice_bow3 and paste as a new layer.Resize 45%, place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Crop your tag and resize if required. Add your copyrightinformation and text. If you are not doing the animation, export as a jpeg withcompression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

If you are continuing with the animation, close off the snowglobe layer and all the layers above it leaving just the background, mask andthe two tree layers. Click on one of those layers to activate and mergevisible. Close off that layer and open your copyright info and text layers, thebow, branch, tree and snow layers. Click on one of those layers and mergevisible. Open the close layers. Your layers palette should now look like myscreenshot below, I have renamed the layers to make it easier.

Close off the merged top layer so you can see what you aredoing. Take your freehand selection tool and draw a selection around the globeas in my screenshot below.

Open the snow file in AnimationAhop. Go to file – export frames – to Paint Shop Pro. The animation will nowopen in layers in Paint Shop. Go back to Animation Shop and again go to file –export – break link with exported frames.

Back in Paint Shop, click on the tube layer to activate it,then copy each of the snow layers and paste them as new layers onto your tagbeing careful not to move any otherwise the snow will jump about. When you havepasted all the layers, invert the selection and hit delete on each layer toremove the excess snow, de-select. Open the closed top layer.

Close off all the snow layers apart from the last one, layer10. Right click on your tag and “copy merged”, paste in animation shop “as anew animation”. Back Paint Shop, close off that snow layer and open the onebelow, again right click and “copy merged”, in animation shop “paste beforecurrent frame”. Do this with each of the snow layers.

Run your tag through the optimization wizard and save as a gif.

After resizing/rotating, elements get a little blurry andneed to be sharpened, to sharpen them up go to adjust – sharpen – unsharp maskwith the values radius and clipping 5, strength 50.

Drop shadow used throughout is vertical andhorizontal 2, opacity 70, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used pd11-pp-04. Make a new layer on your canvas and selectall, paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask. Resize 85%.

Open pd-frame-03 and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%.Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selectionby 10.

Open another of the papers and copy, this time I used pd-pp-10.Make a new layer on your canvas below the frame layer and paste the paper intothe selection. Do not de-select.

Open the close up of the tube, mirror, copy and paste as anew layer on your canvas. Resize and position in the frame to your liking,invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, de-select. Apply the drop shadow to both the tube andthe frame layers.

Open sb_pmt_aphrodite_collab_laurel leaves and paste as anew layer. Resize 65% and position ontop of the frame, apply the drop shadow.

Open pd11-sparkle-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 65%,position on top of the laurel leaves around the frame. Close out your whitebackground and mask layers and merge visible, re-open the closed layers. Movethe merged layer slightly over to the left.

Open pd-burst-02, paste as a new layer and drag down belowthe merged layer.. Resize 85%, move slightly up and to the right.

Open sb_pmt_aphrodite_collab_glitterspat1 and paste as a newlayer. Resize 80% and move up a bit. Duplicate, mirror the duplicate and movedown.

Open sb_pmt_aphrodite_collab_glittersplat2 and paste as annew layer. Resize 90% and position between the first two splats.

Open sb_pmt_aphrodite_collab_column2 and paste as a newlayer. Resize 85%, and position on the right hand side, apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_aphrodite_collab_glitter smear and paste as anew layer. Resize 55% and position at the bottom below the frame.

Open pd11-flower-02, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd11-cloud and paste as a new layer. Resize 30%, placein position and lower the opacity to around 75.

Open sb_pmt_aphrodite_collab_flower1 and paste as a newlayer. Resize 45%, place in position andapply the drop shadow.

Open pd11-flower-03 and paste as a new layer. Resize 40%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open another of the papers and copy, I used p05_AgChr_Schnegge. Make a new layer below the frame layer andpaste the paper into the selection. Do not de-select.

Open your close up tube, mirror if required and paste as anew layer. Resize if needed and position nicely in the frame. When you arehappy, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess. Lower the opacity to around 80 and applypenta.com color dot filter on the default settings. Go back to the frame layer and apply the dropshadow. Close off your background layer and both mask layers and merge visible.Re-open the closed layers.

Open deco06_AgChr_Schnegge and paste as a new layer. Resize80%, drag down below the merged layer, place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Open swag02_AgChr_Schnegge and paste as a new layer. Resize 75%,place in position so its showing on the right hand side of the frame. Apply the drop shadow.

Open doodle01_AgChr_Schnegge, paste as a new layer and bringto the top. Resize 80%, place inposition and apply the drop shadow.

Open swag01_AgChr_Schnegge and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%,place in position along the bottom of the frame and apply the drop shadow.

Open deco02_AgChr_Schnegge and paste as a new layer. Resize 65%, place in position and apply thedrop shadow.

Open woodentrain_AgChr_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.Mirror, resize 65% and place in position, apply the drop shadow and erase theparts out that are over the bow on the swag so it looks like the train is belowit.

Open elf01_AgChr_Schnegge and paste as a new layer. Resize 40%, drag him down below the swaglayer and position him so he is peeking out at the side. Apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Resize if needed, place in positionand apply the drop shadow.

Drop shadow used throughout is vertical 2, horizontal -2, opacity 60, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open paper pd11-pp-01. Make a new layer on your canvas andselect all, paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask.

Open pd11-frame-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%. Select the interior of the framewith your magic wand and expand the selection by 10.

Open pd-11-pp09 and copy. Make a new layer below your framelayer and paste the paper into the selection. Do not de-select.

Open your tube and mirror, paste as a new layer on yourcanvas and resize if required, position nicely inside the frame, invert the selection and hit delete to removethe excess tube. Apply the drop shadowand lower the opacity to around 70. Goback to the frame layer and apply the drop shadow to that also. Close off yourwhite background and mask layers and merge visible. Re-open the close layersand move the merged layer over slightly to the right.

Open pd11-print-03 and paste as a new layer. Resize 85% anddrag down below the merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd11-town and paste as a new layer. Resize 80% and duplicate. Using my tag reference, placein position either side of the merged layer erasing any that shows on the wrong side. Apply the drop shadow. I put my shadow on a separate layer anderased the part at the bottom that was on the snow.

Open pd-print-01, paste as a new layer and place inposition.

Open pd11-tree2, paste as a new layer and bring to the top. Resize65% and place in position. The tree already has a drop shadow so no need toapply another.

Open pd11-snowman and paste as a new layer. Mirror, resize30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-snow-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% andplace in position along the bottom edge of the tree. If any goes over the merged layer, erase it.

Open pd-snow-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize also by 50%and place in position along the bottom part of the first snow layer. Againerase any that goes over the merged layer.

Open your tube again, reverse the mirror and paste as a newlayer. Resize as required, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyright information and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

Open pd-branch-01, paste as a new layer and bring to the top. Resize 65%,place in position and apply the drop shadow. You will need to go back to thislayer and erase the part that shows below your tube.

Open pd-star-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%, placein position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-fireworks-02, paste as a new layer and place inposition.

Open pd-ribbon-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer. Resize as requiredand apply the drop shadow. As you willsee, I greyscaled my tube. There were two reasons for doing this, firstly itmatched the kit better and secondly, this is a large animation and the qualityis much better on a tag with less colours.

Set your foreground colour to black and your backgroundcolour to white, open the text tool, choose your font and with the line widthset to 3, type in 2012 (because of the position of my tube, I put the first 2in separately and stretched it out larger so the tube fitted on itbetter). Apply the Alien Skin, Eye Candy5, Impact, Extrude plugin with the settings in my screenshot below.

Select the interior white part of each of the numbers andexpand the selection by 1. Open one of the papers, copy it and paste as a newlayer, I used pd-pp-01. Resize the paper 70% and position it over the numbers,invert the selection and hit delete. Merge this layer down onto the layer withthe numbers and then apply the drop shadow. Drag your tube layer above this layer and place in position.

Check the positioning of all your layers and make anynecessary adjustments then crop your tag and resize if required, add yourcopyright information and text.

Close of your copyright and text layers, the tube layer, thenumber layers and the ribbon and branch layers. Click on one of the otherlayers and merge visible. Close off the merged layer, re-open the other layersand again click on one and merge visible. Re-open the bottom merged layer.

Open Rieka’s animation in Animation Shop. Copy the bottommerged layer and paste it in animation shop as a new animation. You will seethat Reika’s animation has 18 frames so we need to duplicate our merged layeruntil that has 18 frames also. Activate Reika’s animation, go to edit – select all– edit – copy. Click on the first of your merged layer frames and again go toedit – select all, right click on the first frame and go to “paste intoselected frame” and paste Reika’s animation into the frames.

Back in Paintshop, copy your top merged layer and paste itin Animation Shop as a new animation. Again we need to duplicate it so we have18 frames, then copy and paste it onto our tag the same way as we did Reika’sanimation.

Put your tag through the optimization wizard. On the secondpage where it says Animation Quality Versus Output Size, click on “customize” andcheck the “Optimized Octree” box. This will make the tag smaller in size – don’tforget to change it back!

Don’t forget to sharpen your elements after resizing orrotating to take away the blurriness (adjust – sharpen – unsharp mask, radiusand clipping 5, strength 50).

I wanted to keep my tag mono coloured so I re-coloured thetube and some of the elements from the kit.

Open a new transparent canvas 600 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used SW_Paper7. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask. Resize 80%and lower the opacity to around 75.

Open SW_GlitFrame and paste as a new layer. Resize 30% andapply a drop shadow, vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 70, blur 5.

Open SW_GlitterFrm and paste as a new layer. Resize 47% and align it up in the centre ofthe first glitter frame. Select the interior of this frame with your magic wandand expand the selection by 10.

Open another of the papers and copy, this time I usedW_Paper5. Make a new layer below the frame layer and paste the paper into theselection. Do not de-select.

Open SW_Snow and paste as a new layer. Position nicelyinside the frame, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess. Donot de-select.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer, resize as required and position inside the frame, again hit delete to remove the excess. Do not de-select.

Open SW_Ice and paste as a new layer. Resize 20%, positionnicely in the frame and again hit delete to remove the excess. You can nowde-select.

Apply the same drop shadow as you did for the first frame onthe two glitter frames and on the tube. On the ice, change the horizontal andvertical to 1.

Open Sw_FlakeFrm and paste as a new layer. Resize 43%. Dragthis layer down so its just above the ice layer and apply the drop shadowchanging the vertical and horizontal back to 2.

Open SW_SnowLeaves, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Resize 30% and rotate 70 degrees to the right. Duplicate this layer, rotate the duplicate 90degrees to the right and then flip it. Place both layers in position and applythe last drop shadow to each.

Open SW_Flws2 and paste as a new layer. Resize 45% androtate 90 degrees to the right. Place in position over the horizontal leavesand apply the last drop shadow.

Open SW_Branch and paste as a new layer. Mirror, resize 40%and apply the last drop shadow.

Open SW_RibbonPnk and paste as a new layer. Rotate 90degrees to the right, resize 30%, place in position and apply the last dropshadow.

Open SW_Cones and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%, place inposition and apply the drop shadow.

Don’t forget to sharpen your elements afterresizing/rotating, this is essential for a good looking tag as otherwise itwill be blurry (adjust – sharpen – unsharp mask – radius and clipping 5, strength50).

Open a new transparent canvas 600 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used p08_cmh_Schnegge.Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into theselection, de-select and apply the mask.

Open bracketframe_cmh_Schnegge and paste as a new layer.Resize 60% and rotate 20 degrees to the right.

Open another of the papers and copy, this time I usedpp05_cmh_Schnegge. Draw a selection through the centre of the green part of theframe with your freehand selection tool, make a new layer below thebracketframe layer and paste the paper into the selection, de-select. Go backto the bracketframe layer and apply the drop shadow.

Open flower04_cmh_Schnegge and paste as a new layer. Resize80%, drag down below the frame and paper layers, place in position and applythe drop shadow.

Open leaves03_cmh_Schnegge and paste as a new layer. Resize75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Winter Chill

In this tutorial I amusing the beautiful art of Sherin Moustafa.

Don’t forget to sharpen your elements afterresizing/rotating, this is essential to take away the blurriness (adjust –sharpen – unsharp mask, radius and clipping 5, strength 50).

Drop shadow used throughout is vertical and horizontal 2,opacity 70, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 550 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used CBJ_WC_paper15. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection and de-select. Apply the mask. Resize 90%.

Open CBJ_WC_FlakeDoodleand paste as a new layer. Resize 55% and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_WC_GemStars andpaste as a new layer. Resize 50% and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_WC_BlueGlitterFrameand paste as a new layer. Resize 33%.

Open your tube, paste it as a new layer, drag it down belowthe glitter frame layer and place it in position in the frame. Select theinterior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 5, goback to the tube layer, invert the selection and hit delete to remove theexcess outside the frame. If your tube doesn’t fill the frame as mine does, youwill need to put a paper or background colour behind it. Go back to the framelayer and apply the drop shadow.

Now decorate your frame with some of the elements from thekit. I used CBJ_WC_Flower1 resized 40%, CBJ_WC_Flower2resized 35%, CBJ_WC_Flutter2 resized 15% androtated 20 degrees to the left and CBJ_WC_Holly,resized 30% and coloured to match the rest of the elements. Apply the dropshadow to all your layers.

Check the positioning of all your layers and make anyadjustments.

Open CBJ_WC_Hanger1 andpaste as a new layer. Resize 25% and place in position. This element is aslightly different blue and I wanted to keep my tag in a mono colour for betteroptimization in Animation Shop so I recoloured it. Place the element inposition and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_WC_DoubleBow andpaste as a new layer. Resize 15% and place in position. Erase any of the hangerribbon that shows above the bow.

Go back to your tube layer, duplicate it and bring theduplicate to the top (if you have a paper or coloured layer below the tubelayer, merge the two together first). Resize this layer until it fits insidethe glass ball on the hanger and then drag it below the hanger layer.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text. If you do not wish to animate, save as jpeg withcompression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

Now for the animation.

Merge the bow layer down onto the hanger layer and bring themerged layer to the top. Close this layer and the small tube layer off andmerge visible. You now have 3 layers.

Open the snow file in Animation Shop. Go to file – ExportFrames – to Paint Shop Pro. The file will open in PSP in layers. Go back toAnimation Shop and go to file again – export frames – break link with exportedframes. Now you need to copy each frameof the snow animation onto your tag between the tube layer and the mergedhanger/bow layer. Just copy and paste each one as a new layer and be sure notto move them! When you are done,activate the tube layer and go to selections – select all – selections float –selections defloat – selections invert.Hit delete on each of the snow layers to remove the snow that is outside of theglobe. Close off all the snow layers apart from the first one. Right click onyour tag and “copy merged”, paste in animation shop “as a new animation”. Closeoff this snow layer and open the second, right click and copy again and pastein animation shop “after current frame”. Do this with all 10 of the snowlayers. When you have done, run your tag through the optimization wizard on the default settings and save as a gif.

Drop shadow used throughout is vertical and horizontal 2,opacity 75, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 650 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used –emchristmastk-paper1. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask. Resize 85%.

Open –emochristmastk-glitter-brushed-purple andpaste as a new layer. Resize 80% and apply the drop shadow.

Open –emochristmastk-frame2 and paste as a new layer. Resizealso 80%.

Open another of the papers and copy, this time I used –emochristmastk-paper2.Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selectionby 5, make a new layer below the frame layer and paste the paper into theselection, de-select. Go back to the frame layer and apply the drop shadow. Mergethe frame layer down onto the paper layer.

Open –emochristmastk-snowflakes and paste as a new layer. Resizeagain 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open –emochristmastk-clip-left and paste as a new layer. Placein position and apply the drop shadow.

Open –emochristmastk-tree and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer. Resize as required,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open –emochristmastk-wordart-1 and paste as a new layer. Resize60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positioning of all your layers and when you arehappy, crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyright information andtext. If you do not wish to do the animation, export as a jpeg with compressionset to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

Now for the animation!!

Duplicate the tree layer 3 times so you have four copies,close out the 3 copies and activate the original.

Open your Lighten/Darken brush. I have included a screenshotbelow so you can find it if you are not familiar with it. I am using PSPX3 butyou should be able to find it in other versions. I didn’t resize my tag and hadthe brush size set on 40, if you resized you may need to make it a littlesmaller.

Click on one of the balls on the Christmas tree four times to lighten it. Do this on 3 or 4 of the balls. When you are done, close out this layer, open the second layer anddo the same thing on 3 or 4 different balls. Do the same thing on the other 2layers.

Now we need to take our tag into animation shop. Close outthe 3 copy tree layers and have just the first original layer open. Right clickon your tag, copy merged and paste as a new layer in Animation Shop. Back inpsp, close out this tree layer and open the second one, right click again, copymerged and paste in Animation Shop “after current frame”. Do the same thing forthe other 2 layers. Click on edit – select all then go to animation – frame propertiesand change the properties to 25. Run your tag through the optimization wizardon the default settings and save as a gif.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_pp6 and copy. Again make a new layeron your canvas, paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply Melissaz’mask 1, de-select. Resize 80%.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_frame1, paste as a new layer andresize 60%. Select the interior of each part of the frame and expand theselection by 10.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_pp10 and copy. Make a new layerbelow the frame layer and paste the paper into the selection. Do not de-select.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_snowflakes1 and paste as a newlayer. Resize 70% and position towardsthe top interior of the frame. Invert the selection and hit delete to removethe excess. De-select. Go back to theframe layer and apply the drop shadow. Close off the background and mask layersand merge visible. Re-open the closed layers.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_tree and paste as a new layer.Resize 60%, place in position on the right hand side of the frame and apply thedrop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_branch4 and paste as a new layer. Resize55% and rotate 10 degrees to the left. Position on the left hand side of theframe and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_frame7, duplicate and close theoriginal. Resize 40% and rotate 10 degrees to the right. Select the interior ofthe frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 10. Make a new layerbelow the frame layer and fill with a dark colour from your tube, I used a darkbrown from his hair. Do not deselect. Open your close up tube and mirror it,copy and paste as new layer. Position nicely inside the frame, resizing if needed, invert theselection and hit delete to remove the excess then lower the opacity to around 45.Go back to the frame layer and apply the drop shadow. Merge visible, copy,paste on your original canvas and place roughly in position, you can adjust itlater.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_branch 5 and paste as a new layer. Duplicatethis layer and mirror and flip the duplicate. Place in position along thebottom of the frames and apply the drop shadow to each layer.

Now we will put our main tube on so we can then position therest of the elements around him. Don’t forget to apply the drop shadow to thetube. I put the shadow on a separate layer so I could erase the part along thebottom cut off edge.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_flower5 and paste as a new layer. Resize45% and rotate 10 degrees to the left. Drag down below the tube and place in positionon the left hand side, apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_branches and paste as a new layer. Resize30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_pear and paste as a new layer.Resize 25%, place in position on the right hand side of the tube and apply thedrop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_branch1 and paste as a new layer. Resize55% and rotate 90 degrees to the left. Place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_ribbon1 and paste as a new layer. Resize60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_pinecone and paste as a new layer. Mirror,resize 40% and rotate 10 degrees to the right. Place in position and apply thedrop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_winter-love_snow, paste as a new layer and bringto the top. Resize 55% and place inposition along the bottom edge of your tube.

Check the position of all your layers and make anyadjustments. Erase any parts like the stalk on the flower that are showingbelow the tube. Erase a bit of the snow that is over the red branch so thebottom part of the branch is above it.

When you are happy, crop your tag and resize if required,add your copyright information and text and export as a jpeg with compressionset to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

Open TMW_CW_IcedFrame2 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%.I re-coloured the frame to complement the tube.

Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expandthe selection by 30. Open TMW_CW_Paper13 and copy. Make a new layer below theframe layer and paste the paper into the selection. We are going to need thisselection again later so we need to save it – selections – load/save selections– save to alpha channel. When you have saved it you can de-select. Go back tothe frame layer and apply the drop shadow.

Open TMW_CW_GlitterStars and paste as a new layer. Resize55%. Again I re-coloured the glitter stars. Drag this layer down below the frame layer and place in position, erasethe parts either side that are outside the frame and then apply the dropshadow.

Open your tube, paste it as a new layer and bring to thetop. Resize as required, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Make a new layer just above the white background layer,flood fill with the colour

#a7bcc0 and apply themask. Resize 80%.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text.

Open the snow mng file in animation shop. Go to edit –select all – file – export frames - to Paint Shop Pro. The file will now openin layers in PSP. Go back to animation shop, go to file – export frames – breaklink with Paint Shop Pro.

On your tag, click on the paper layer that is inside theframe to activate it. Now you need to copy each of the snow frames in the rightorder onto your tag. Right click on each layer and copy, click on your tag andpaste as a new layer DO NOT MOVE THE LAYER.If you move the layer your snow will be jumping all over the place.

Now we need to get that saved selection back – go toselections load/save selection – load selection from alpha channel and open itup. Invert the selection and then, one at a time on each of the snow layers, hitdelete to get rid of the snow that is outside the frame.

Close off all thesnow layers apart from the first one. Right click on your tag, copy merged, goback to animation shop and paste as a new layer. Close off that snow layer andopen the next one, copy again and paste in animation shop “after selected frame”.Do this for each of the snow layers.

Run your tag through the optimization wizard and save as agif.

Open pd-moon and paste as a new layer. Resize 60% and applythe drop shadow. Move up and to the left a bit.

Open pd-tree and paste as a new layer. Resize 75%, place inposition and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-frame-06 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%.Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selectionby 10. Open a new paper and copy, I used pd-pp-06, make a new layer on your canvasbelow the frame and paste the paper into the selection, de-select. Go back tothe frame layer and apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer. Resize as requiredand position her coming out of the frame. Apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-swirl-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%. Placein position and using my tag for reference, erase parts of the swirl out.

Open pd-sparkle -01 and paste as a new layer, resize 80% andplace in position.

Open pd-flower-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 75%,duplicate and resize the duplicate again by 80%, place in position and applythe drop shadow to each.

Open pd-key and paste as a new layer. Mirror, resize 35%,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-cracked-mirror and paste as a new layer. Resize 55%, place in position and apply the dropshadow. Paste your tube again as a new layer, position her face in the mirror,lower the opacity so you can see the mirror through the tube and erase theparts that are outside the glass. Set the final opacity to around 50.

Check the positioning of all your layers and make anyadjustments. Go back to the tree layer and draw a selection around the righthand part of the base of the trunk. Hit delete and then right click and paste asa new layer, this will put back the part you deleted, de-select. Bring the part you deleted to the top andreposition so its over the top of the frame.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text. The AL Boogie Woogie font looks nice with an inner bevel. I have done a screenshot of the bevel I used. When you are done, export your tag as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on atransparent background as a png.

Open sb_pmt_forever-love_window1 and paste as a new layer. Resize80%. We can’t select the interior of thewindow with the magic wand as it has glass in it, so we need to draw a roughselection through the centre of the frame using the freehand selection tool, asin my screenshot below. Make a new layer below the frame and flood fill with adark grey. Do not de-select. Open your tube, use the close up if you have one,paste as a new layer, resize as required and position inside the window, invertthe selection and hit delete to remove the excess, de-select. Lower the opacityof the tube to around 40. The frame already has a drop shadow so no need to addone. Close off the background and mask layers, merge visible and move over alittle to the right. Re-open your closed layers.

Open sb_pmt_forever-love_leaves and paste as a new layer.Resize 80%, drag down below the merged layer and position behind it. Duplicatethis layer and mirror it, position so a few leaves are showing on the top andright of the merged layer and erase the rest. Apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open sb_pmt_forever-love_lamp and paste as a new layer.Resize 55% and place in position on the left of the merged layer. Apply thedrop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_forever-love_sparkle1 and paste as a new layer.Resize 65%, drag down below the lamp layer and place in position.

Open sb_pmt_forever-love_flower5, paste as a new layer andbring to the top. Resize 55%, place inposition and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_forever-love_piano keys and paste as a new layer.Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_forever-love_notesswirl and paste as a newlayer. Place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open sb_pmt_forever-love_flower6 and paste as a new layer.Resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer. Resize as required,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the position of all your elements and make any adjustments. I erased acouple of the sparkles and the ring on the window that were showing below mytube.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyright information and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background has a png.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used pd-pp-01. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all,paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask.

Open pd-frame-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%. Select the interior of the frame with yourmagic wand and expand the selection by 30. Make a new layer below the framelayer and flood fill the selection with a dark grey, I used #2b2b2b. Do notde-select.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer, resize if requiredand position inside the frame, invert the selection and delete any excess tube. My tube was in two parts, one with the vampire fangs and neck blood and one without so I put the vampire one in theframe and used the other one as the main tube. Apply the drop shadow to theframe and the tube and then lower the opacity of the tube to around 45.

Open pd-light-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 90% andposition on the tube’s face, set the blend mode to soft light. Close off the background and mask layers andmerge visible, re-open the closed layers and move the merged frame layer overslightly to the left.

Open your main tube and paste as a new layer, resize andcrop as required, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-moon and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%, drag downbelow the tube and merged layers and place in position. Apply the drop shadowbut change the opacity to 40.

Open pd-splatter-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70% andduplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate and position the splatters nicely sothey show around the frame. Apply the original drop shadow to each layer.

Open pd-swirl-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70% andplace in position. It already has a drop shadow so no need to add another.

Open pd-splatter-03 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70% andposition on the right of the main tube. Again this element already has a dropshadow.

Open pd-flower-04 and paste as a new layer. Mirror, resize55% and place in position. Apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-fog and paste as a new layer. Resize 70% and drag upso its just above merged layer, position along the bottom of the frame.Duplicate this layer and mirror the duplicate. Position so just a tiny bit isshowing on the right hand side of the main tube and erase any that overlapswith the first fog layer.

Open pd-clock-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 30%, placein position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-greens-01 and paste as a new layer. Mirror and flip,rotate 20 degrees to the right and resize 45%. Place in position and apply thedrop shadow.

Open pd-ribbon-01, paste as a new layer and bring to thetop. Mirror and resize 50%, place in position. This layer also has a drop shadowso no need for another.

Open pd-flower-03 and paste as a new layer. Resize 30% andduplicate. Mirror the duplicate and resize by another 90%. Place both flowersinto position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Open pd-key and paste as a new layer. Rotate 40 degrees tothe left and resize 30%. Position between the two flowers and apply the dropshadow.

Open pd-book-02, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.Resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-candle-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 40%,position on the book and apply the drop shadow.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyrightinformation and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on atransparent background as a png.

Don’t forget to sharpen your elements after resizing/rotatingto take away any blurriness caused (adjust – sharpness – unsharp mask, radiusand clipping 5, strength 30).

I used a soft drop shadow throughout of vertical andhorizontal 5, opacity 40, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and floodfill with white.

Open WWW_ChristmasPresent_pineswagand paste as a new layer. Resize 60%, place in position on the fireplace andapply the drop shadow.

Open WWW_ChristmasPresent_santaornamentand paste as a new layer. Resize 30% and hang it on the swag, apply the dropshadow.

Open WWW_ChristmasPresent_treeand paste as a new layer. Resize 60%, place in position and apply the dropshadow.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer. Resize as required,place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open WWW_ChristmasPresent-envelopeand paste as a new layer. Resize 25% and rotate 10 degrees to the right. Dragdown below the tube layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open one of the candles and paste as a new layer, I used WWW_ChristmasPresent_candle4resized 25%. Place in position and applythe drop shadow.

Open one of the stockings and paste as a new layer, I usedwww_ChristmasPresent_stocking1 mirrored and resized 50%. Place in position andapply the drop shadow.

Open one of the lollipops and paste as a new layer. I usedwww_ChristmasPresent_lollipop1 resized 25%. Place in position and apply thedrop shadow.

Open WWW_ChristmasPresent_Ribbon5or Ribbon 6 and paste as a new layer. Resize 40% and duplicate. Position oneribbon either side of your tube and apply the drop shadow to each layer.

Open WWW_ChristmasPresent_wordart,choose one of the colours, paste as a new layer and bring to the top. Resize80%. I duplicated the word art to make the colour a little deeper as it wasn’tshowing up enough and then merged the two layers together. Place in positionand apply the drop shadow.

Crop your tag and resize if required, add your copyright information and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.
