About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

Font is

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 800 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 30 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask, resize it 70% and duplicate it, position one copy towards the top/left and one towards the bottom/right.

Paste frame 4 and resize it 45%.  Select the top part of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below the frame and fill with colour #bcb1c3.  Paste the tube, resize it 80% and position in the frame, invert the selection, hit delete on the tube, deselect and change the blend mode on it to “Luminance (Legacy)".  Select the interior of the middle part of the frame and expand the selection as before, go back to the layer that you filled with colour and fill this section with #967e5d then post the tube again but this time mirrored and repeat the above.   Now repeat again on the bottom part of the frame filling with colour #924428 and the tube mirrored.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame, close off the white background layer and both mask layers, merge visible the open the closed layers.

Paste element 71, resize 50%, drag below the merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 63, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 68, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 58, resize 35, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 57, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 59, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 46, resize 43%, rotate place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube again, resize 35% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 45, resize 25%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 44, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32 on the top, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 42, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 34, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 41, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustment, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
