About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. I used a drop shadow of vertical 0,horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.


Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 4 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resized 90%

Paste the flag layer from the tube on the mask and position it so the flag is right up in the top, right hand corner of the mask.  Click on the mask layer to activate it, go to selections and select all then float and defloat the mask, invert the selection and hit delete on the flag, deselect, change the blend mode to “Soft light” and lower the opacity to around 55 then merge it down onto the mask.

Paste element 122, resize 40% and position towards the bottom of the mask.

Paste element 148, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 104, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 72, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 98, resize 32%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 114, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 97, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 31, resize 15%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12 on the top, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 110, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19, resize 5% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 20% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 156, resize 45% and position behind the dog.

Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
