Now open your Warp tool, set the Mode to “Push” and the strength to 50 and gently push the skirt around very slightly on the tube copy you have open.  Close off that copy and open the second copy and do the same thing pushing in different directions then deselect.

Right click on your tag and “Copy merged”, open Animation Shop and paste “As a new animation”.  Back in Paint Shop, close of this copy, open the first copy, copy it as before and paste in Animation Shop “Before current frame” then repeat this with the first copy.   Select all your frames and change the Animation Properties to 50.  Check you are happy with the animation and then run it through the Optimization Wizard and save as a gif.

Red Poison

In this tutorial I used the awesome tube
You can purchase the tube at

I used the kit “Destiny” from
Gothic Inspirations.
This is an awesome kit and this is the second tutorial
I have written using it.
You can purchase the kit at

You will need my mask

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 800 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 16 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize it 95%.

Open Castle 1.  Resize the canvas using the settings in my first screenshot below then move the castle right over to the left until the bottom widest part touches the far left edge of the canvas,  use your Pick Tool on it and stretch it over until the widest part on the other side touches the right hand edge of the canvas (see my second screenshot).    You will notice that stretching the element makes it a little blurry so be sure to sharpen it up afterwards (check out my Tricks and Tips page for info on sharpening).

Copy the stretched castle and paste it on your canvas, erase the wide part at the bottom, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Tree, resize 70% and mirror, position on the left and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Bush 1, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Fire 1.

Paste Stairs, resize 65% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the main tube, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Fence, resize 65%, drag below the tube and position on the left, duplicate, move the copy over a little to the right, erase the parts that overlap hiding the join behind the tube, merge the top copy down on the bottom copy and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Netting, resize 50% and duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste Candle 2, resize 25%, duplicate and mirror the copy, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Pile of Skulls 1, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Pile of Skulls 2 on the top, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste chest, resize 30% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow (I recoloured the heart on the front).

Paste Magic Wand 1, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Book, resize 25% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Looking Glass 2, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Dragon 5, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Stone Pile, recolour #6c6951, resize 35%, position below the dragon on the left, duplicate, position the copy on the right, duplicate again, mirror and position in the middle then apply the drop shadow to each.

Check your layers now but they will need some more adjustment when we do the next part.

Paste the close up tube below the fence, mirror it, resize it 80% and place in position.  Duplicate Fire and drag the copy right up to just below the main tube (you must not move it once you have duplicated it, it needs to be exactly over the original copy).  Change the blend mode on the copy of Fire to “Overlay”.  Check the position of the close up tube and lower the opacity on it to around 85.  If you have any of the elements below it showing through too much when the opacity is lowered, then erase those bits (I erased a bit of the staircase).   When you are happy with the placement of the close up tube, erase what shows of it on the right of the main tube and any that shows at the bottom of the tag.  Now erase the part of the top copy of Fire that shows on the right of the main tube as it’s a bit bright on that side with two copies.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
