About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal  5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 3 into the selection, deselect, open the mask that is supplied with the kit, apply it to the paper and then resize 65%.  Move the mask up and to the left, duplicate it and move the copy and to the right.

Paste element 29, resize 80% and rotate 15 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12, resize 23%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 48, resize 50% and move into position.  Select the interior of the element with your magic wand, expand the selection by 30, make a new layer below it, paste paper 11 into the selection and deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame and merge it down onto the paper.

Paste the tube, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 38 and resize 60%.  Drag this element down below the music book and position so some shows on the left towards the bottom, duplicate, flip the copy and position so it shows at the top then apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 45, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 33, position so it shows at the top, duplicate, move the copy over to show on the right, duplicate again and position so a little shows on the left erasing the part at the bottom then apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 2, drag above the music sheets, resize 35% and rotate 40 degrees to the left, duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 26, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 30 and drag it up to just below the tube,  resize 70%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and resize it another 90% then apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 40, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 28, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25, resize 45%, drag below the violin, duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 6, resize 30%, duplicate and mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 44, resize 35%, drag below the copy of element 6 on the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 37, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 36 and drag up to just below the tube, resize 50%, position on the right, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and move it over to the left then apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 23, resize 35%, mirror and rotate 40 degrees to the right, drag between the two copies of element 36,  place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 35%, drag below the recorder, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5, resize 30% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 25% and rotate 90 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15 on the top, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21, resize 23% and duplicate twice, flip one copy and rotate one 40 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste spray 2 just below the main tube, resize 70% and move into position.

Paste word art 2 on the top, resize 70%, duplicate, merge the copy down onto the original, apply a gradient glow filter or a white drop shadow and place in position.

Check the layers and make any adjustments then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
