Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.


Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 5 into the selection, apply the mask.

Make another layer, paste paper 4 into the selection, deselect and  apply the mask again.  Merge this second mask layer down onto the first  mask layer.

Paste smudged and resize 95%.

Paste the clock, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste brushed flowers, resize 65% and mirror, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste flowers 2, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste ribbon 1, resize 50%, place in position on the left of the rube, duplicate, move the duplicate over to the right, erase the parts that overlap hiding the join behind the tube and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste string, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste cluster 2 on the top, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste berries, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste flowers, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste cluster 1, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the bird, resize 20%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and resize it another 90%, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments.

Paste bling just below the tube, resize 70% and place in position.

Paste light above the tube, resize 70% and place in position erasing the part that shows below the clusters.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.


Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 650 and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 8 into the selection, duplicate it and close the copy off for now.  Apply Horseplay’s Pastures mask to the original copy of the paper and resize it 80%.  Open the top copy, apply Scraps Dimensions’ mask, resize 88% and mirror.

Paste element 15 and resize 55%, select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below it and fill the selection with #4a4a4a.  Paste the close up tube, resize 70%, position in the frame, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  Lower the opacity on the phone to 50% and apply the drop shadow to the frame.

Paste the main tube, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16, resize 60% and rotate 90 degrees to the right, drag below the tube, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 29, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22, resize 60% and rotate 50 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10, resize 35% and rotate 90 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19, resize 35% and rotate 90 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23 on the top, resize 50% and  mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4, resize 18% and rotate 30 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 35%, place in position erasing part the loop around the bow and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 30, resize 60% and duplicate a couple of times, position around the tag and apply the drop shadow to each.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.

Unless otherwise stated, I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.


Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 2 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste element 14, resize 60% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2, resize 60% and rotate 10 degrees to the right.  Select the interior of the top section with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10, make an new layer below the element and paste paper 6 into it.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame and merge it down onto the paper.

Paste the tube, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5, resize 80%, drag down to just above the mask and duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 27 just below the tube, resize 80% and apply a drop shadow but changing the horizontal to 2 and blur to 5.

Paste element 22, resize 85%, place in position and apply the drop shadow (remember to change the settings back).

Paste element 21, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 50% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 13, resize 70% and place in position.  Paste your tube again, mirror it and resize it 80%.  Click on the element to activate it and then click with your magic wand anywhere on your canvas out side it, expand the selection by 5, position the tube in the element and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the tube and the element.

Paste element 28 on the top, resize 50% and rotate 70 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 40% and use your Pick tool (Deform tool in older versions) to make it a bit narrow, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.

Paste the tube, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26, resize 65%, drag below the tube and place in position.

Paste element 13, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19, resize 55% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 20, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 85%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11, resize 30% and rotate 30 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments.  Go back to element 26, duplicate it and move the copy over so a little shows on the right.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.

Open a larger transparent canvas 850 by 800 so you have plenty of room and fill with white.

Paste element 107, resize it 45%, give it a good sharpen and position towards the bottom on the right of your canvas.  Select the interior of the element with your magic wand, expand the selection by 1, make a new layer below the element and paste paper 4 into it, deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame, close off your white background layer, merge visible and re-open the closed layer.

Paste element 115, resize 90%, drag below the merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube on the top, resize 70% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 114, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39, resize 30% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 20C, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste elemebt 59, resize 50%, mirror and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 109b, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 28, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 41, resize 20% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 66, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste one of the word arts, resize, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized mine 80%.

Check your layers now and make any necessary adjustments.

Make a new layer just above the base white layer, select all, paste paper 6 into the selection, mirror Millie’s mask, apply it and resize 90%.

Make another layer, again paste the paper into the selection,  apply the Moonbeams and Spiderwebs mask and resize 90%.

Paste the tube again, resize it 90%,  change the blend mode to “Overlay” and place in position.  Use your erasure size 100, opacity 10 along the bottom harsh edge to blend it out.

Paste element 7, resize 50%, position above the black netting and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 102 on the top, resize 70% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Once again, check your layers. 

Merge the top mask down onto the bottom mask then select this merged layer, float and defloat it, invert the selection, click on the overlay tube and hit delete, deselect.

Crop your tag, resize it if needed, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
