About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the tube “Razor Sharp” from the latest pack 67 by
Barbara Jensen.
This tube is awesome, I absolutely love it!
You can get the tube at

The kit is “Rock On” from
Another great kit which is also available at

I used two masks, mask 0116 by
and mask 151 from

I used the font

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 95, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 10 into the selection and apply Trese’s mask, resize 90%.

Make another layer, now paste paper 1 into the selection, deselect and apply Vaybs’ mask, resize 90%.

Paste element 5, resize 90% and apply the drop shadow.

Paste your main tube, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21, resize 75%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3, resize 40%, drag below the ivy, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23, resize 65% and flip, position lined up with the bottom of the keyboard and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, drag back up above the ivy, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11 and bring to the top, resize 35% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6, resize 45% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments.

Paste the close up tube,  resize 60%, position just above the barbed wire on the right, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position below the keyboard on the left, apply the drop shadow to each copy,  change the blend modes to “Hard Light” and erase the parts that show at the bottom of the tag.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
