I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Paste Element 25 as a new layer, resize 65% and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 24 as a new layer, resize 65% and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 19 as a new layer, resize 55% and move up a little.  Paste Element 20 as a new layer, resize also 55%, drag below the frame and place in position.

Paste your tube as a new layer or the close up if you have one,  position in the frame resizing as needed, select the interior of each part of the frame and expand the selection by 5, invert it and hit delete to remove the excess tube, deselect.  Change the blend mode on the tube to “Overlay” and apply the drop shadow to the frame, close off all your layers apart from the tube, the frame and Element 20 and merge visible, re-open your closed layers.  I used the close up resized 80%.

Paste your main tube as a new layer on the top, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized this tube 65%.

Paste Element 12 as a new layer, resize 90% and mirror, drag below the merged layer, position on the right and apply the drop shadow, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the left.

Paste Element 8b as a new layer, resize 80%, position on the right and apply the drop shadow, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the left.

Paste Element 21 as a new layer, drag above the merged layer, resize 45%,  place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 18 as a new layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Elements 5 and 6 as new layers,  resize each one 80%, duplicating and mirroring some of the copies, arrange them around the tube and apply the drop shadow to each layer.

Paste one of the roses as a new layer, resize 60%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, position amongst the flowers and apply the drop shadow to each.   I put both of mine behind the tube.

Paste Element 7 as a new layer,  resize 70%, duplicate twice and mirror one copy, again position amongst the flowers and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste Element 10 as a new layer, resize 60% and duplicate position in the flowers erasing any that overlap with the join hidden by the flowers and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste Element 2 as a new layer on the top, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 3 as a new layer, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 1 as a new layer, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Coffee Rules

In this tutorial I used the art of PinUp Toons.
You need a license to use PinUp Toons’ art, available at

I used a freebie sampler kit “Sweet Latte” by
Gothic Inspirations.
You will find the kit on

You will need the template “Coffee” by

You will also need a mask, used mask 1, also from

I used the font

Please be sure to check out my “About my tutorials” page if this is the first tutorial of mine you have followed, thank you.

I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 85, blur 5.

Open the template, duplicate and close the original.  Resize 70% with the box “Resize all layers” checked then increase your canvas size back to 700 x 700 pixels and refill the “bg” layer with white.

Delete the “info” layer  and the “white strip” layer.

Merge “wording” layer down onto the “wording white with d/s" layer and then move the merged layer further down on your tag using mine for a reference.

Apply the drop shadow to “dots” layer.

Activate the “left pink square” layer, float and defloat it, make a new layer above it, copy Paper 4 and paste it into the selection, deselect.  Delete the original template layer and apply the drop shadow to the “left white square” layer.

Now activate “right pink square” layer and repeat pasting Paper 1 into the selection and deleting the template layer.  Apply the drop shadow to the “right white square”.

Activate “black rectangle” layer and repeat pasting Paper 2 into the selection, apply the drop shadow to this layer and delete the template layer,

Activate “black circle” layer, float and defloat as before, make a new layer and fill with a colour from your tube, deselect and delete the original layer.  Apply the drop shadow to the “white circle” layer.

Activate “right blue rectangle” layer, float and defloat it, make a new layer as before and paste Paper 1 into the selection, deselect, apply the drop shadow and delete the template layer.

Activate “white rectangle layer” and repeat pasting Paper 3 into the selection deleting the template layer.

Activate “blue strip” layer, float and defloat, make a new layer and paste Paper 4 into the selection, deselect, apply the drop shadow and delete the template layer.

Activate “blue left rectangle” and repeat as before pasting Paper 1 into the selection, apply the drop shadow to this layer and delete the template layer.

Paste your main tube as a new layer, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized the tube 80%.

Activate “left white rectangle” layer, float and defloat it, make a new layer and fill with a dark brown, I used #281512 , delete the original layer.  Paste your tube again and position it on the brown layer, resizing if needed, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect and lower the opacity to around 50.  I used the tube in its original size here.

Activate “white frame bgs” layer, float and defloat it, make a new layer and fill each section with the dark brown, delete the original layer and deselect.

Repeat with the “pink frame” layer filling the new layer with the same colour from your tube that you used before.

Duplicate your main tube, drag down so it's between the two frame layers and the brown background layer and position it in the frames, select the interior of that section of the black frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 5, invert it and hit delete on the tube to remove the excess then deselect.  Repeat this with each section of the frame mirroring some of the copies and then apply the drop shadow to both the frame layers.  Close off all your layers apart from these frame layers, the brown background layer and the copy tube layers, merge visible and re-open the closed layers

Paste Label from the kit as a new layer, resize 90%, place in position below the merged layer and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Bean Divider as a new layer, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Ribbon 1 as a new layer, resize 60%, drag above the merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Paper Flower 2 as a new layer,  resize 25% twice, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place the flowers in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments.

Activate the white bg layer, make a new layer above it, select all, paste Paper 2 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask, resize 93%.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.

Unless otherwise stated, I used a drop shadow of vertical 0,  horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Paste element 18 as a new layer, resize 55% and move up a little.  Select the interior of the element with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below it and fill with black, deselect.  We will come back to this.

Paste element 16 as a new layer, resize 65%, drag down below the black layer and position on the right, duplicate, move the duplicate over to the left and apply the drop shadow to each copy.

Paste your tube as a new layer on the top, place in position resizing as needed and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 80% and applied the shadow with the box “Shadow on a new layer” checked, I then erased the shadow on the blanket.

Paste element 30 as a new layer, resize 75%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2 as a new layer, resize 45% and rotate 30 degrees to the right, mirror, drag below element 30, position on the left and apply the drop shadow, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the left.

Paste element 30 as a new layer, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11 as a new layer, resize 65%, rotate 90 degrees to the right and duplicate, place in position on either side of the tube erasing the parts that overlap and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 10a as a new layer, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4 as a new layer, resize 45% and mirror, place in position, erase the botto of the tassel if you need to and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 13 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5 as a new layer,  resize 50% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments, I resized the mask 110 as things were getting a bit cramped!

Paste your tube again or close up, drag it below the frame, duplicate, mirror and position both copies.  I used the close up resized 50%.  Merge the top copy down onto the bottom one and lower the opacity to around 60.  Apply Paintshop’s Blinds Texture with the setting as my screen shot below then repeat with the horizontal box also checked.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame and repeat with vertical on 5 and horizontal on 0.

Paste one of the rings as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 25%, mirror and flip, position on the last letter of the jewelled word, apply the drop shadow and erase part so it’s hooked over the letter.

Paste element 29 as a new layer, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.

The White, Red and Blue

In this tutorial I used the layered tube “Bashful”
from the latest pack 57 by
Barbara Jensen.
You can purchase the tube from

The beautiful kit is called “The White, Red and Blue” by
The kit can also be purchased at

You will also need a mask, I used mask 28 from

I used the font

Please be sure to check out my “About my tutorials” page before you start if this is the first tutorial of mine you have followed, thank you.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 95, blur 15.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, copy paper 7 and paste it into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.  Duplicate and merge the copy down onto the original.

Paste element 3 as a new layer, resize 60% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1 as a new layer, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2 as a new layer, resize 55% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6 as a new layer, resize 45% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  Select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10 and make a new layer below it, copy paper 10 and paste it into the selection.   Paste your tube as a new layer and position it in the frame resizing if needed, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame and the tube.  I used the full size tube in its original size.

Paste element 6 as a new layer, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste your main tube as a new layer, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  Don’t try and line the tube up with the scroll at the moment as we will move that later. I resized my tube 70%.

Paste element 28 as a new layer, resize 40%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21 as a new layer, resize 30% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 24 as a new layer, resize 30%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 20 as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22 as a new layer, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8 as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26 as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments.

Duplicate element 6, drag the copy to just below the tube and close it off for the moment.  Go back to the original copy and erase any that shows to the left and below the tube.  Now open the copy and position it so the tube is inside the scroll erasing most of the scroll, just leaving the bottom part and the part to the left of the tube.  It doesn’t matter if this copy layer is not in line with the original one as it won’t show.

Paste element 15 as a new layer, resize 23% and flip, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27 as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers again and when you are happy, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
