In this tutorial I used the tube “Fur Baby”
from the new pack 52 by
Barbara Jensen.
You can purchase this gorgeous tube from

The kit is “Peachy Mood” by
This is a lovely kit with several more elements
than I have used and can also be purchased at

You will also need a mask, I used mask 84 by

I used the font

If this is the first tutorial of mine you have followed, please check out my “About my tutorials” page before starting, thank you.

I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 80, blur 10.

Open new transparent canvas 700 by 600 and fill with white.

Copy pp4, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.  Resize 105%.

Paste element 12 as a new layer, resize 70%, rotate 10 degrees to the left and place in position.  Select the interior of each part of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 7, make a new layer below it and fill with the colour #8b6f56, deselect.

Paste your tube as new layer, rotate it 10 degrees to the left, apply the drop shadow and, resizing as needed, position it in the left part of the frame.  Select the interior of that section of the frame only and expand it as before, invert it and hit delete on the tube to remove the excess.  If you are using one of Barbara’s layered tubes, duplicate it and close the original, pick your layers and copy merged.  I used the main tube its original size.  Make sure the tube layer is active and go to Effects – Photo Effects – Sepia toning and pick “Major Age” from the drop down menu.

Paste your tube again, mirror it and repeat the last steps rotating the tube to the right and positioning in the right section of the frame.

Now paste element 6 as a new layer making sure it’s between the two tubes and the frame then also rotate it 10 degrees to the left. Change the blend mode on the element to “Overlay” and place it in position over the tubes.  Again select the interior of each part of the frame and expand it as before, invert it and hit delete on element 6 to remove the excess, deselect and apply the drop shadow to the frame.  Close of your bottom white layer and mask layer, merge visible and re-open the closed layers.

Paste  your tube again, resize it as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  This time I resized my tube 70%

Paste element 13 as a new layer.   Resize 45% and rotate 30 degrees to the right, drag below the tube and position on the left, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the right.  Apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Paste element 20 as a new layer.  Resize 50% and rotate 30 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26 as a new layer.   Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23 as a new layer.  Resize 45% and duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21 as a new layer.   Resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18 as a new layer.   Resize 45% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3 as a new layer and bring to the top.   Resize 65% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22 as a new layer.  Resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9 as a new layer.  Resize 25% and duplicate, mirror the duplicate and resize it another 85%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4 as a new layer.   Resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 28 as a new layer.  Resize 80% and rotate 100 degrees to the right, drag down to just above the clock, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments.  When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text then export on a transparent background as a png.

I used a really fabulous kit called “Toad-ally In Love” by
This is such a fun kit and can be purchased at

You will also need a mask, I used big mask 001 by
Vix.

I used the font

Please check out my “About my tutorials” page before starting if this is the first tutorial you have followed of mine.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 80, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 650 pixels and fill with white.

Copy Paper-4, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.  Duplicate the mask and merge the top copy down onto the original.

Paste Frame-1 as a new layer, resize 70% and move into position.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 15, make a new layer below it, copy paper 4 again and paste it into the selection, deselect.  We will come back to this.

Paste Element-52 as a new layer.   Resize 70%, drag below the frame and paper layers, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element-53 as a new layer and bring to the top.  Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_47 as a new layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element-5 as a new layer,  resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element-43 as a new layer.   Mirror, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_45 as a new layer.  Resize 70%, drag below the log  and place in position.

Paste your tube as a new layer, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 40%.

Paste Element_42 as a new layer.  Resize 35% and drag below the log, duplicate, resize the duplicate 90% and drag it below the first copy, mirror the first copy, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste Element_14 as a new layer, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element _7 as a new layer and drag up until just below the tube.   Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_54 as a new layer.  Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_51b as a new layer and bring to the top, resized 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_62 as a new layer.   Resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste two of the single chocolates as a new layer, resize each 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers now and make any necessary adjustments.

Paste your tube again, drag it down below the frame, resize as needed and place in position, select the interior of the frame and expand it as before, invert the selection and hit delete on the tube, deselect.  Lower the opacity of the tube to around 55 and apply the drop shadow to the frame.

Paste Element_1b as a new layer just below the main tube, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_17 as a new layer on the top, resize 45% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 17b as a new layer.  Resize 40% and duplicate, resize the duplicate another 90%.  Duplicate the smaller frog again and mirror it.  Position these frogs around your tag, one on the log, one behind the log and one on the stones.  Duplicate the larger one again, mirror it, rotate it 40 degrees to the right and position it peeping around the right of the tube.  Apply the drop shadow to all the frogs.   Duplicate one of the smaller ones again with the shadow on it, drag it to just above the water, with your erasor on size 50 and opacity set to 10, erase around the bottom of the frog until just his eyes are above the water and you can just see a bit of his body in the water.

Paste Element_39 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_67 as a new layer just below the main tube,  resize 60% and place in position.

Paste Element_4 as a new layer, resize 30%, duplicate and resize the duplicate 80%. Mirror the original and position it behind the tube so it shows a little on the right of her, position the duplicate on the stones and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste Element_30 as a new layer on the top, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

When you are all done, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.

Cherished

In this tutorial I used the fabulous tube “Come Hither”
from the new pack 52 by
Barbara Jensen.
You can purchase the tube at

The kit is “Moonlight Shadow” by
I loved this kit, the colours are just awesome!
The kit can also be purchased at

You will also need a mask, I used mask 230 by

Font of choice.

Please check out my “About my tutorials” page if this is the first tutorial of mine you have followed.

Unless otherwise stated, I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 80, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Copy pp2, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste element 7 as a new layer.  Resize 80%.  Select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 15 and make a new layer below it, copy pp2 again and paste it into the selection, deselect.  Apply a drop shadow to the frame of vertical and horizontal 0, opacity 80 and blur 15, repeat the drop shadow then merge the element down onto the paper.

Paste your tube as a new layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow (remember to change the settings).  If you are using one of Barbara’s layered tubes, duplicate it and close the original, pick your layers and copy merged.  I resized my tube 70%.

Paste element 16 as a new layer.   Resize 75%, drag down below the tube and position on the right.  I mirrored it but just because I liked the pattern more on that side.  Select the interior, expand the selection and make a new layer as before and again paste pp2 into the selection but this time do not deselect.    Paste your tube again, resize as needed and position in the element, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  I use the same tube without resizing.  Change the blend mode on the tube to “Overlay” and apply the drop shadow you applied to element 7 repeated again. Close off all your elements apart from this frame, tube and paper and merge visible, re-open your closed elements, duplicate the merged layer, mirror it and position on the left.

Paste element 3 as a new layer.   Resize 28% and position on the right, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the left.

Paste element 17 as a new layer.   Resize 55% and rotate 40 degrees to the right, position on the right and apply the drop shadow, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the left.

Paste element 29 as a new layer.   Resize 45% and duplicate, place both flowers into position and apply the drops shadow to each.

Paste element 19 as a new layer.   Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow you applied to element 7 and repeat it again.

Paste element 13 as a new layer.   Resize 55% and apply the drop shadow (change the settings back).

Paste element 26 as a new layer.   Resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11 as a new layer.   Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15 as a new layer.   Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8 as a new layer.   Resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.

Shrinking Violet

In this tutorial I used the fabulous new bonus tube “Shrinking Violet” by
Barbara Jensen.
This gorgeous tube comes with loads of layers and is free
with a tube purchase of just $10 at
until midnight on 23rd January.

The kit I used is called “Dots & Stripes” and is by
This fabulous kit can also be found at

You will also need a mask, I used mask 84 by

For the text I used the alpha
that came with the kit.

Please check out my “About my tutorials” page if this is the first tutorial of mine you have followed, thank you.

Unless noted in the tutorial, I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 8, opacity 80, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Copy pp5, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.  Resize 105%.

Paste element 1 as a new layer, resize 80% and move up a little.  Select the interior of the element with your magic wand and expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below the element and fill with black, deselect.  We will come back to this.

Paste your tube as a new layer, resize as needed, place roughly in position and apply the drop shadow.  If you are using one of Barbara’s layered tubes, duplicate it and close the original, pick your layers and copy merged.  I resized my tube 70%.

Pate element 21 as a new layer.   Resize 65% and rotate 50 degrees to the left, drag below the tube and position to the left of her, duplicate and move the duplicate over to the right.  Apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Paste element 14 as a new layer.   Resize 35%, position on the right and apply the drop shadow.  Paste element 7 as a new layer.  Resize 35% and mirror, place in position on element 14 and apply the drop shadow.  Merge this element down onto element 14 then duplicate it, mirror the duplicate and position on the left.

Paste element 22 as a new layer.   Resize 65% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, position on the right and apply the drop shadow, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the left.

Paste element 9 as a new layer.  Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11 as a new layer.  Resize 45%, mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6 as a new layer.  Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12 as a new layer.   Resize 37%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15 as a new layer.  Resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Pate element 27 as a new layer.   Resize 33%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16 as a new layer.  Resize 40%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and resize it another 90%, place both elements in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 13 as a new layer.   Resize 28%, mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments.

Duplicate your tube, without moving it out of position, drag the duplicate down until it’s just above the feather, go back to the original tube and erase most of it out just leaving her legs coming across the top of the elements.

Paste your tube as a new layer again and drag this layer down between the frame and the black layer, resize as needed and position on one side of the frame, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the other side.  Select the interior of the frame and expand it as before, invert the selection and hit delete on each tube to remove the excess, deselect.  Lower the opacity on the tubes to around 40, apply the drop shadow to the frame and then repeat the shadow changing the vertical and horizontal to -5.

Open element 30, resize it 40%, draw a selection around the letters in your name and paste them on the tag, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each (remember to change the settings back).

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and export on a transparent background as a png.
