About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the aweome tube “Raspberry Tart”
from the latest pack 63 by
Barbara Jensen.
You can purchase Barbara’s tubes from

The kit is “Firefighter” by
I just love this kit, it has some great elements!
You will also find the kit at

You will also need a background mask, I used mask 141 from

Font of choice.

 I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 1 into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste element 10 as a new layer, resize 80% and duplicate, position one copy at the top on the right and the second at the bottom on the left.

Paste element 17 as a new layer, resize 80%, duplicate, merge the top copy down onto the original copy and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16 as a new layer, resize 50% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6 as a new layer, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube as a new layer, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 15 as a new layer, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  Erase any of the tube that shows below this element.

Paste element 14 as a new layer, resize 40%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5 as a new layer, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 1 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 13 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11 as a new layer, resize 33%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19 as a new layer, resize 30% and rotate 90 degrees to the right,  place in position and apply the drop shadow erasing some around the ribbon.

Paste element 20 as a new layer, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24 as a new layer above the tube, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 30 as a new layer, resize 75% and rotate 70 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8 as a new layer, resize 25% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21 as a new layer on the top, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2 as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25 as a new layer, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layer positions and make any necessary adjustments, when you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
