Devil Denise

In this tutorial I used an awesome tube called “Denise” from
The tube comes with several layer options and can be purchased at

The kit is “Devil’s Denise”from Angela at
The kit is huge with 112 elements, 5 frames and 12 papers!
I loved it!
Check out Angela’s blog for info on where you can
purchase her kits.

I used two masks in my tutorial, mask 230 by
and mask 18 by Millie at

I used the font

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 95, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 10 into the selection, mirror Weescotslass’ mask and then apply it to the paper, resize 95%.

Make another layer, paste the paper again into the selection, deselect and apply Millie's mask.

Paste element 21 as a new layer, resize 60% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39 as a new layer, resize 55%, mirror and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 4 as a new layer, resize 55% and place in position.  Paste frame 3 as a new layer, resize 47% and position on top of frame 4.  Select the interior of frame 4 with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below it and paste paper 4 into the selection, deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to both frames and merge frame 3 down onto frame 4.

Paste the tube as a new layer, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 109 as a new layer, resize 60%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 46 as a new layer, resize 80%, drag below the merged layer and the paper layer below it, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 108 as a new layer, resize 50% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23 as a new layer, drag above the merged layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 49 as a new layer, resize 30% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 13 as a new layer, resize 50% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 51 as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 50 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 43 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 30 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 63 as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers now and make any adjustments.

Paste element 25 as a new layer, resize 80% and apply the drop shadow, position just below the book and erase the part inside the merged frame layer and above the skeletons.

Paste element 28 as a new layer and mirror, position above the merged frame layer.  I duplicated this layer and erased some bats from each layer so I had them where I wanted them.  Apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26 as a new layer, resize 70%, position below the tube and apply the drop shadow.  Go back to the stones and drag them up above this layer.

Paste element 7 as a new layer, resize 40% and position on the right below element 13, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and position on the left below the books, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 45 as a new layer on the top, resize 30% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, position on the bottle, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, rotate it 10 degrees to the left and position on the left, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 3 as a new layer, resize 40% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
