Autumn's End

In this tutorial I used a beautiful tube called “Mia” by
You can purchase the tube at

The kit is “Autumn’s End” by
This is a really beautiful kit in a gorgeous rich colour scheme
and can be purchased at

I used two masks in my tag, masks 0120 and 0181, both by Simone at

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 14 into the selection, duplicate it and close off the copy.  Apply mask 0120 to the original layer and resize it 85%.  Open the copy, apply mask 0181 and resize 85%.

Paste element 21 as a new layer, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 88 as a new layer, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 3 as a new layer, resize 40%, flip and place in position.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below it and fill with a dark brown, I used #36261e, deselect.  We will come back to this.

Paste your tube as a new layer and, resizing as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 30%.

Paste element 71a as a new layer, resize 80%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 44 as a new layer, resize 70% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18 as a new layer, resize 45% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 94 as a new layer, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 52a as a new layer, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 71b as a new layer, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 62 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 114b as a new layer, resize 74%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 61 as a new layer, resize 30% and duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 33 as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 25%, position in front of the tube, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, drag it below the tube and position on the right, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 73 as a new layer on the top, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 75 as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 29 as a new layer, resize 20%, place in position in front of the tube, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, drag below the tube and position on the right, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 45 as a new layer on the top, resize 30% and flip, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 6 as a new layer, resize 25% and duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 56 as a new layer, resize 27%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 57 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 78 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 77 as a new layer, resize 40%, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 10 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 64 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 63 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments.

Paste element 116 as a new layer, flip it and drag it down to below 114b, that’s the cluster, resize 80%, position it below the cluster and apply the drop shadow, then use your Pick tool to pull it down  at the bottom and stretch it out until you can see it below the chipmunks.

Paste your tube again, drag it between the frame and the brown layer , resize and position in the frame.  Again select the interior of the frame and expand the selection as before, invert it and hit delete on the tube to remove the excess, lower the opacity of the tube to around 50 and merge it down onto the brown layer.  Do not deselect.  I resized the tube 55% this time.

Copy the mask layer 0120 and paste it as a new image.  Resize it 80% and rotate it 90 degrees in either direction then paste it on your original canvas above the merged tube/brown layer and again hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  Re-colour this layer the same dark brown at you used before and set the blend mode to “Soft Light”, apply the drop shadow to the frame.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
